HVACR pipe
The present invention relates to a pipe suitable for conveying fluids in HVACR applications, which pipe comprises an inner tube delimiting an inner space or passageway for a fluid, an insulating cover and an anti-corrosion layer.
Cover for a cable harness with different color layers
A cover for a cable harness including: (i) a first layer comprising a first color; (ii) a second layer layered adjacent to the first layer, the second layer comprising a second color that is different than the first color; and (iii) an adhesive layer adhered to the first layer, at least a portion of the adhesive is not covered by the second layer. The first color can black, while the second color is white. The second layer comprises fibers that can be substantially free of dye. At least one of the first layer and the second layer can be polyethylene terephthalate. The cover can cover a plurality of cables of a cable harness. If wear forms a hole through the first layer, the second color of the second layer is visible from an environment external to the covered cable harness through the hole through the first layer.
INK SUPPLY TUBE
An ink supply tube includes: a first layer that is made of an unmodified ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene copolymer resin and is in contact with ink; a second layer that is made of a modified ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene copolymer resin and is formed on an outer periphery of the first layer; a third layer that is made of a polyamide resin or a basic functional group-modified polypropylene resin and is formed on an outer periphery of the second layer; a fourth layer that is made of an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer resin having a gas barrier property and is formed on an outer periphery of the third layer; and a fifth layer that is made of an acid functional group-modified polypropylene resin and is formed on an outer periphery of the fourth layer.
FIBER-REINFORCED RESIN HOLLOW MOLDED BODY AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
A fiber reinforced resin hollow molded body 30 in which a resin-integrated fiber sheet is used. The resin-integrated fiber sheet includes unidirectional continuous fibers that are spread fibers of a continuous fiber group and arrayed unidirectionally in parallel, and thermoplastic resin that is present at least on a surface of the unidirectional continuous fibers. In the hollow molded body, in a state where the resin-integrated fiber sheet or a plurality of the resin-integrated fiber sheets 30 are stacked, the resin-integrated fiber sheet or the plurality of resin-integrated fiber sheets are wound to produce a wound body having an overlapping portion. The thermoplastic resin is impregnated in the unidirectional continuous fibers. The resin-integrated fiber sheet or the plurality of resin-integrated fiber sheets are consolidated.
Annulated tubular structure intended for transporting fuel into the tank
A partially annulated flexible tubular structure located at least partially inside the fuel tank, in particular the gasoline or diesel tank, particularly the gasoline tank, of a vehicle, said structure being capable of being at least partially submerged in said tank and being intended for transporting said fuel into said tank, said tubular structure comprising at least one layer (1) comprising a composition comprising: a. between 39% and 100% by weight, in particular between 41% and 100% by weight, of at least one aliphatic polyamide of formula W/Z, b. between 0% and 4% by weight, and preferably between 0 and 2%, of at least one plasticizer, c. between 0% and 20% of at least one impact modifier, d. between 0% and 37% by weight of at least one additive, the sum of a.+b.+c.+d. being equal to 100% of the total weight of the composition, excluding a fuel transport structure running from the tank to the motor of the vehicle.
YSZ CERAMIC SUBSTRATE PROTECTED FIREPROOF HOSE
A hose is provided capable of meeting fireproof requirements per AS1055 under no flow condition. The hose has multiple layers including a yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ) flexible ceramic substrate layer disposed between first and second silicone rubber layers.
LAMINATE OF MULTILAYER FILMS AND PROCESS THEREOF
A laminate includes a multilayer outer film, which includes a first barrier layer and polyolefin layer on both sides of the first barrier layer, and a multilayer middle film, which includes a second barrier layer and polyolefin layer on both sides of the second barrier layer. The polyolefin layer of the multilayer outer film towards the multilayer middle film and/or the polyolefin layer of the multilayer middle film towards the multilayer outer film is metallized with a metal selected from aluminum, nickel, chromium, or combinations thereof. A process can be used for preparing the laminate and an article can include the laminate.
HIGH-TEMPERATURE, THERMALLY-INSULATIVE LAMINATES INCLUDING AEROGEL LAYERS
This disclosure includes high-temperature, thermally-insulative laminates, Some laminates have a front surface, a back surface, one or more heat-dispersing layers, each comprising at least 90% by weight of: a metal having a melting point of at least 1,300° C. and a thermal conductivity of at least 15 W/Km; or graphite, and one or more heat-insulating layers coupled to the heat-dispersing layer(s), the heat-insulating layer(s) each including a layer of polymeric aerogel, wherein at least a majority of the front surface is defined by one of the heat-dispersing layer(s).
PIPE FOR CONVEYING FLUIDS IN HVACR SYSTEMS
The present invention relates to a composite coating for an inner tube delimiting a passageway for a fluid for obtaining a pipe for conveying fluids in HVACR systems.
Resin composition, production method for resin composition, and molded body using resin composition
There is provided a resin composition, comprising an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer and a nonionic surfactant, wherein the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer has an ethylene unit content of 15 to 60 mol %, and a saponification degree of 90 mol % or more; the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer is contained as a major component; and the nonionic surfactant is contained at 3 to 400 ppm. The resin composition is produced by melt-kneading a mixture comprising the nonionic surfactant, water and the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer. By using the resin composition thus produced, a discharge amount during melt molding can be increased and a molded article with an excellent appearance can be provided.
