The invention relates to the use of microorganisms as plant growth stimulants and for the biological control of bacteria, insects, fungi and phytopathogenic nematodes. More specifically, the invention relates to the use of microorganisms of the genus Bacillus, more specifically the Bacillus methylotrophicus species, as well as to cultures thereof, compositions comprising these bacteria, different culture methods and the products comprising same, as plant growth stimulants and for the biological control of bacteria, insects, fungi and phytopathogenic nematodes.

A mobile, self-contained system for enhancing plant growth comprising: a mobile structure comprising a plurality of wheels so that the system can be moved; a vessel supported by the structure; a recirculating pump supported by the structure and exterior to the vessel, the pump having a first discharge line and a second discharge line; a generator supported by the structure; a vessel outlet from a bottom portion of the vessel to the pump; and an aerator for injecting air into the first discharge line; wherein the first discharge line extends from the pump directly into the bottom portion of the vessel, such that the contents of the vessel can be recirculated by the pump from the vessel outlet back into the vessel through the first discharge line and the second discharge line extends from the pump and is adapted for discharging contents of the vessel directly into an irrigation system.

The invention concerns a bacterial preparation, a method for preparing a cleaning solution, a cleaning solution and a method for cleaning targets, which contain impurities. The cleaning solution contains at least bacterial preparations, such as portion capsules, with bacteria which are harmless to humans and animals, such as probiotics, mixed into a liquid, such as water. The used water is preferably tapwater, from which components that kill bacteria in said bacterial preparations have been removed and preferably also all or nearly all salts.

Disclosed herein are a materials such as a coating, an elastomer, an adhesive, a sealant, a textile finish, a wax, and a filler for such a material, wherein the material includes an proteinaceous molecule such as a peptide and/an enzyme that confer a metal binding, an anti-fouling and/or an antibiotic property to the material. In particular, disclosed herein are marine coatings such as a marine paint that comprise an anti-fouling peptide sequence that reversibly binds a metal cation that is toxic to a fouling organism. Also disclosed herein are methods of reducing fouling on a surface by treating the surface with a metal binding peptide.
