Co-crystals of 3-iodopropynyl butylcarbamate
The present invention relates to biocidal agents designed to protect industrial products against microbial, bacterial, fungal and algal infections. In particular, the present invention relates to co-crystals containing 3-iodopropynyl butylcarbamate (IPBC) and to compositions containing said co-crystals which possess improved physical, chemical and workability properties compared with the use of IPBC.
High activity antiparasitic composition
Synergistic composition able to rapidly and efficiently terminate Rhynchophorus ferrugineus infestation, in palms or other species suffering from this parasite. The composition comprises one or more among permethrin, cypermethrin, lambda-cyhalothrin; one or more among chlorpyrifos methyl, and chlorpyrifos ethyl; furthermore, benzisothiazolin-3-one, piperonyl butoxide, imidacloprid. The parasite dies shortly after contact with the product, infestation is terminated, and the palm remains protected against new attacks for a long time; the product is not toxic to the palm, on the contrary the plant recovers a level of health even higher than the initial one.

Antimicrobial wash
A method for detaching, removing or otherwise disrupting bacteria or biofilm by applying with pressure an antimicrobial wash. The antimicrobial wash contains a biguanide compound or mixtures thereof.

Antimicrobial compounds, compositions and methods of use thereof
Described herein are antimicrobial compounds identified via a high-throughput screen to identify compounds that produce anucleate cells in E. coli after cell division occurs. Compound 1 (5-nonyloxytryptamine) and its analogs are small molecule inhibitors of the nucleoid occlusion system and/or proteins that are responsible for maintaining the structure of the chromosome. The antimicrobial compounds are useful to treat bacterial infections as well as to inhibit bacterial growth.
