Direct Printing and Printer
A printer for direct printing on a print substrate comprises a front support supporting a printing device; the front support to be arranged at a front side of a print substrate and to be aligned relative to a rear support across the print substrate in a contact-less manner.
PRINT METHOD
The present invention relates to a print method. In the print method, a first layer of ink is deposited and cured before a second layer is applied. The present invention further relates to a software product. The present invention also relates to an inkjet printing apparatus.
AQUEOUS INKJET INK FOR NON-ABSORBENT PRINTING SUBSTRATES AND PRINTING PROCESS
An inkjet ink includes pigment, dispersing agent, fixing agent, binder and water. The binder is selected from polyurethanes of a low acid value, the dispersing agent has a low acid value, and the fixing agent is a multivalent calcium salt used in a low concentration. The inkjet ink is easy to apply by using commercial inkjet printing presses, has high storage stability, adheres to surfaces that do not absorb water, exhibits high resistance to wiping and is very advantageously capable of being overprinted by other water-based inkjet inks. A printing process is also provided.
TRANSPORT DEVICE AND LIQUID EJECTING DEVICE
A transport device includes a transporting belt including an outer peripheral surface where a medium is placeable, the transporting belt being configured to transport the medium, a wiper blade including a tip portion configured to come into contact with the outer peripheral surface, and a base end portion located on an opposite side of the tip portion in an intersecting direction intersecting with the outer peripheral surface, the wiper blade being configured to wipe the outer peripheral surface, a contact portion made of resin and configured to support the base end portion by coming into contact with the base end portion, and a plurality of pressing units provided side by side in a width direction of the transporting belt, the plurality of pressing units being configured to press the base end portion via the contact portion.
Ultraviolet curable ink composition, method for manufacturing bezel pattern in display substrate by using same, and bezel pattern manufactured thereby
The present invention relates to an ultraviolet curable ink composition including a colorant, an epoxy monomer, an oxetane monomer, a cationic photopolymerization initiator, and a polymerization inhibitor, wherein the weight ratio of epoxy monomer:oxetane monomer is 1:0.5 to 1:6, to a method for forming a bezel pattern by using the same, to a bezel pattern manufactured thereby, and to a display substrate having the same.
Retractable printable medium support
A printable medium support for a printer comprises a support element to support a printable medium, wherein the support element is movable between a protruding configuration to support the printable medium, and a retracted configuration in which the support element is at least partially retracted in a first direction. The printable medium support comprises an actuating element to move the support element between the protruding configuration and the retracted configuration.
SHEET SUPPLYING APPARATUS AND PRINTING APPARATUS
A sheet supplying apparatus, which is capable of winding a sheet tightly, includes a driving unit configured to cause a roll including a wound consecutive sheet to rotate in a first direction for feeding the sheet or a second direction opposite to the first direction, a sensor that detects a leading end portion of the sheet separated from an outer circumferential surface of the roll, and a contact body that presses the outer circumferential surface. Before the sheet is fed, in a state in which the contact body presses the outer circumferential surface, the driving unit causes the roll to continuously rotate in the second direction until a detection cycle of the leading end portion by the sensor is less than a predetermined value.
RECORDING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SUPPRESSING DEVIATION OF RECORDING POSITION OF RECORDING APPARATUS
A recording apparatus includes a cassette or a feeding tray that is configured to mount a medium thereon, a transport unit that transports the medium mounted on the cassette or the feeding tray, and a recording head that performs recording on the medium. Furthermore, the recording apparatus includes a medium detection device and a deviation amount acquisition section. The medium detection device detects at least one of both side edges in a width direction intersecting a transport direction of the medium that is transported from the cassette or the feeding tray (step S12). The deviation amount acquisition section acquires a deviation amount of the recording head in the width direction of the medium based on at least one side edge detection position detected by the medium detection device (step S13).
Method For Producing Printed Material And Wrapping Method With Wrapping Material
A method for producing a printed material includes an application step of applying a radiation-curable ink composition onto a shrink film, and a curing step of irradiating the radiation-curable ink composition on the shrink film with radiation to form a cured ink coating, thus obtaining a printed material. The radiation-curable ink composition contains one or more polymerizable compounds whose weighted average glass transition temperature is 20° C. to 70° C.
Conveyors for box making machines and method
A vacuum belt conveyor sequentially delivers sheet articles to a digital printer. The sheets are held in position by vacuum on the underside of the sheets through apertures in the belt and covered by the sheets. A plurality of independent plenums on the underside of the belt have chambers respectively communicating with rows of apertures extending along the belt. Vacuum is selectively applied from a manifold only to the plenum chambers that supply apertures that are covered by the sheets so that the ink from the printer will not be directed from its intended position on the sheet by vacuum from adjacent uncovered belt apertures.
