METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PRINTING ON TILTED PRINT MEDIUM USING PRINTHEAD
20230150275 · 2023-05-18 ·

A method for printing on a tilted print medium using a first printing strategy or a second printing strategy. The first printing strategy includes: acquiring a tilted direction and a tilted angle of the titled print medium; acquiring a print start point; starting print from the start point and continuously translating the printhead toward the tilted opposite side in a direction perpendicular to the moving direction of the tilted print medium, and during the translation, controlling the inkjet hole to delay ink-jetting in the direction parallel to the moving direction of the tilted print medium. The second printing strategy includes: determining a tilted angle of the print medium and a position of a print standard point after tilted, adjusting the print content to be mirror symmetrical with the print medium, and controlling the printhead to print according to the print content when the print standard point reaches the printhead.

PRINTING APPARATUS

An example printing apparatus is illustrated. The printing apparatus includes a print engine assembly. The print engine assembly further includes a bottom chassis portion. The print engine assembly also includes a top chassis portion. The print engine assembly also includes a print head positioned within the top chassis portion. The print engine assembly also includes a plurality of offset pins coupled to the print head, where the plurality of offset pins abuts the bottom chassis portion, and where the plurality of offset pins enables the print head to be positioned at a predetermined distance from the bottom chassis portion.

Printing apparatus and printing method

A printing apparatus includes a head configured to discharge liquid to a printing medium, a carriage configured to move the head back and forth to one side and another side in a scanning direction with respect to the printing medium, and a control unit configured to perform printing of a printing image with the liquid by controlling driving of the head and the carriage. When performing printing of an end portion of the printing image on the one side, the control unit performs the printing by a first scan in which the head is moved from the one side to the other side, and when performing printing of an end portion of the printing image on the other side, the control unit performs the printing by a second scan in which the head is moved from the other side to the one side.

A control unit configured to perform multi-pass printing provided that a region of a printing medium including a first region, a region downstream of the first region is a second region, and a region downstream of the second region is a third region, in a first period in which the first region is a target of printing, causes a velocity of paper feed to be slower than in a third period in which the third region is a target of printing; in the first period, causes a standby time of the printing head to be longer than in the third period; and in a second period in which the second region is a target of printing, changes the standby time so that the standby time approaches the standby time in the first period from the standby time in the third period as the first region approaches the printing head.

RECORDING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM

A recording apparatus includes a recording unit, a scanning unit configured to perform relative scanning by moving the recording unit and a recording medium relative to each other at least once with respect to a unit region on the recording medium, a recovery unit configured to perform a recovery operation for maintaining or recovering a recording performance of the recording unit for application of a recording material, and a control unit configured to control the recovery unit, wherein the control unit acquires recording mode information about recording of an image to be performed on a recording medium for (n+1)-th page (n being a natural number) and determines, based on the acquired recording mode information, whether to perform an inter-page recovery operation at timing after recording of an image on a recording medium for n-th page ends and before recording of an image on a recording medium for (n+1)-th page starts.
