POLYMER FORMULATION FOR AGRICHEMICAL USE
A composition including a salt of a monocarboxylic acid, and a polyacrylamide polymer that hydrates at a pH of at least approximately 6 in the presence of no more than approximately 40 wt % of the salt of a monocarboxylic acid. The present disclosure also includes a method for producing a homogeneous composition for agrichemical use including the following steps. Obtaining a salt of a monocarboxylic acid. Obtaining a polyacrylamide polymer that hydrolyzes in the presence of no more than 40 wt % (or 30 wt %) of the salt of a monocarboxylic acid at a pH of at least about 6. Combining the polyacrylamide and the monocarboxylic acid salt to produce a homogeneous composition. The polymer of the composition is preferably compatible and stable with formulations of potassium glyphosate and used in a spray mixture. The composition may also contain formulation components such a defoamers, water conditioners, surfactants, biocides, stickers and solvents.
Composition for Killing Arthropods and Uses Thereof
The present invention relates to a composition for killing arthropods and their eggs, such as lice or ticks and nits. More in particular, the invention provides a composition for killing arthropods, said composition comprising at least 65% by weight of a mixture of saturated linear or branched hydrocarbons, wherein said hydrocarbons comprise a mixture of saturated linear or branched C.sub.10-C.sub.16 hydrocarbons and saturated linear or branched C.sub.17-C.sub.25 hydrocarbons, wherein the ratio of saturated linear or branched C.sub.10-C.sub.16 hydrocarbons to saturated linear or branched C.sub.17-C.sub.25 hydrocarbons by weight is lower than 15:85. The invention further relates to the use of such composition for killing arthropods and to a method for killing arthropods comprising the application of the present composition.
PESTICIDAL MIXTURE COMPRISING A CARBOXAMIDE COMPOUND AND A BIOPESTICIDE
The present invention relates to pesticidal mixtures comprising as active components at least one active compound selected from compounds of formula I, formula Ia, and mixtures thereof and at least one biopesticide II. Furthermore, the present invention relates to seed treatment compositions comprising said mixtures, to methods and uses comprising the application of these mixtures and to seeds comprising the mixtures of the invention or a seed treatment composition thereof.
Adjuvants for agricultural chemicals
Adjuvant compositions for use with agrochemical solutions is provided; more specifically adjuvant compositions that may be used to prepare agrochemical formulations used in the field to control weeds, pests and plant pathogens that adversely affect crop production. The adjuvants improve coverage of the target foliage and exposure of the targeted weed, pest or plant pathogen to the active ingredient of the formulations without the need for increasing the amount of active ingredient applied while reducing spray drift and off-target application.
