YELLOW INK FOR INK JET, IMAGE RECORDING METHOD, AND IMAGE RECORDED ARTICLE
A yellow ink for ink jet and an image recording method, which enable recording of a yellow image having excellent weather fastness, and an image recorded article provided with a yellow image having excellent weather fastness are provided. A yellow ink for ink jet contains a lake yellow pigment and a yellow pigment other than the lake yellow pigment, a resin, a water-soluble organic solvent, and water.
Liquid composition, device for applying liquid composition, image forming device, and image forming method
A liquid composition includes an inorganic particle and a multivalent metal salt, wherein the liquid composition has a tacking force of 50 mN or less in an area of cast-coated paper where the liquid composition is applied in an amount of 0.12 mg/cm.sup.2 for the cast-coated paper followed by heating at 80 degrees C. for 15 seconds.
Method for producing a structure on a surface
A method for manufacturing a structure on a surface of a workpiece (1) is disclosed, the method having the following steps: applying a liquid base layer (2) onto the surface of the workpiece (1); spraying on at least one droplet (3) into the not yet congealed base layer (2), wherein the at least one droplet (3) at least partially, preferably completely, penetrates into the base layer (2); fixing the base layer (2); and at least partially removing the at least one droplet (3). Further, a second method having the following steps is disclosed: spraying on at least one droplet (3) onto the surface of the workpiece (1); applying a liquid base layer (2) onto the surface of the workpiece (1), wherein the base layer (2) flows around the at least one droplet (3) and preferably at least partially covers the at least one droplet (3); fixing the base layer (2); at least partially removing the at least one droplet (3). Finally, a device for performing the methods is disclosed.
INKJET DEVICE
An inkjet device includes: a stage in which a substrate is installed; a substrate mover which moves the substrate in a first direction; a processor which moves in the first direction together with the substrate mover; and an inkjet head disposed on the stage, where the processor includes a suction portion.
LIQUID METAL PARTICLE-ASSEMBLED NETWORK SYNTHESIZED IN VARIOUS POLYMERS, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SAME
Various embodiments relate to a liquid metal particle-assembled network synthesized in various polymers and a method of manufacturing the same. The liquid metal particle- assembled network is configured to include a polymer matrix, first liquid metal particles spaced apart from each other and disposed within the polymer matrix, and second liquid metal particles that connect the first liquid metal particles between the first liquid metal particles within the polymer matrix. In this case, the size of each of the second liquid metal particles may be smaller than the size of each of the first liquid metal particles.
APPARATUS, METHOD AND ARTICLE OF MANUFACTURE FOR PRODUCING AN EDIBLE MULTI-COLOR INK-IMAGE
Embodiments of the invention relate to an apparatus, method and article of manufacturing for producing an edible multi-color ink image. In some embodiments, first and second fluids are provided where: i. the first fluid is an acidic edible and aqueous ink whose color is pH sensitive, the first fluid comprising anthocyanin-containing extract of anthocyanin-containing plant matter (ACE-ACPM), or solids of the ACE-ACPM; ii. the second fluid is an edible pH-adjusting liquid which is clear, or whose primary colorant is riboflavin or riboflavin-phosphate.
Method and apparatus of decorating a metallic container by digital printing to a transfer blanket
An apparatus and methods of decorating a metallic container are provided. More specifically, the present invention relates to apparatus and methods used to provide a decoration or indicia on a predetermined portion of an outer surface of a metallic container body. The decorator includes at least one digital print unit, a transfer blanket, and a support element. The digital print unit transfers a decorating material to the transfer blanket to form a decoration on the transfer blanket. The support element then moves a metallic container into contact with the transfer blanket. In this manner, the decorating material is transferred to an exterior surface portion of the metallic container to decorate the metallic container. In one embodiment, the digital print unit is an electrophotographic system which transfers a toner material to the transfer blanket. In another embodiment, the digital print unit includes an inkjet print head which transfers an ink to the transfer blanket. Optionally, the decorator may include two or more support elements.
