ALKYL POLYGLYCERYLAMINE BASED SURFACTANTS FOR AGRICULTURAL USE

This disclosure provides an agricultural composition comprising at least one agrochemical and at least one alkylamine glycidol surfactant of the structure I:

##STR00001## where R is C4-C22 linear or branched, saturated or non-saturated hydrocarbon group with or without pendant hydroxyl groups; x is about 0 to about 30, preferably about 1 to about 20, more preferably about 1 to about 10, more preferably about 1 to about 5; y is about 0 to about 30, preferably about 1 to about 20, more preferably about 1 to about 10, more preferably about 1 to about 5; x+y≥about 2 and up to about 30, and Gly is a glyceryl residue.

This invention relates to agrochemical compositions. More specifically, the invention relates to an aqueous agrochemical composition comprising (i) water in an amount of 30 wt. % or more based on the total weight of the liquid agrochemical composition: (ii) one or more electrolyte agrochemicals dissolved in the water, wherein the total amount of electrolyte agrochemicals dissolved in the water is 20 wt. % or more based on the total amount of water in the liquid agrochemical composition; (iii) a surfactant system comprising: (a) an alkylpolyglucoside surfactant, an alkyl glucamide ester surfactant and/or an ethoxylated fatty alcohol phosphate ester surfactant; and (b) a co-surfactant comprising an anionic head group and a tail group, wherein the tail group comprises at least two alkyl, alkenyl or alkynyl groups; and (iv) one or more agrochemicals suspended in the water.

A method of controlling a weed including applying trifludimoxazin and glyphosate potassium salt to the weed or a habitat of the weed, wherein an application rate of trifludimoxazin is approximately 6.25 to 12.5 g per 10000 m.sup.2 and an application rate of glyphosate potassium salt is approximately 1540 g per 10000 m.sup.2.
