Compositions comprising ethoxylated lecithin and methods of making and using the same

Compositions are provided that include ethoxylated lecithin for use as an adjuvant in aqueous composition. Specifically, the compositions may be utilized primarily as drift reduction agents in agricultural compositions, as a soil or foliage penetrant, as a pesticide adjuvant, as a pesticide formulation component, and for other uses. More specifically, the compositions are useful in reducing drift in spray compositions, such as in use in agricultural applications, such as pesticide, herbicide, fungicide and insecticide formulations, in industrial vegetation management (“IVM”) and integrated pest management (“IPM”) applications, in rights-of-way applications, in forestry applications, and other like applications.

Disclosed embodiments of the present invention concern an herbicidal combination, such as a premix concentrate or a tank mix, comprising 1% to 10% of a triketone herbicide, such as a benzoylcyclohexane-1,3-dione, and 30% to 50% of a diphenylether herbicide, such as a 2-chloro-4-(trifluoromethyl)phenoxy]-2-nitrobenzoic acid. Certain embodiments comprise, consist of, or consist essentially of, mesotrione and oxyfluorfen. Particular compositions comprise an aqueous composition comprising oxyfluorfen, mesotrione, a surfactant, a freeze/thaw agent, a defoaming agent, a rheology agent, and an antimicrobial agent. A method for using disclosed combinations comprises applying a combination to a locus where undesired vegetation is present or may be present. Yet another embodiment comprises a method for forming a disclosed combination, such as a premix concentrate or a tank mix, comprising, consisting of, or consisting essentially of, (1) a triketone herbicide, such as mesotrione, and (2) a diphenylether herbicide, such as oxyfluorfen.

The solid composition includes fungal dormant sclerotium, a carbon source nutrient, and a nitrogen source nutrient. The solid composition is a dried solid composition. The solid composition may weed out target plants, including the burcucumber which is designated as an ecologically damaging plant and suppress soil-borne diseases like Sclerotinia dollar spot disease. By using the solid composition, burcucumber and Sclerotinia dollar spot disease can effectively be controlled, and it is possible to make significant gains in solving problems with biological products containing microorganisms in stages of production, storage, distribution, and usage process.

Disclosed is a biodegradable resin composite material including a biodegradable polymer resin and multifunctional particles, wherein: (a) the multifunctional particles include 10-70 wt. % of a hydrophobic active ingredient, 21-72 wt. % of a polysaccharide, 3.80-20 wt. % of a crosslinking agent, 1.00-6 wt. % of a catalyst, 0.10-5 wt. % of a silica flow aid, optionally 0.10-5 wt. % of a desiccant, optionally 0.20-20 wt. % emulsifier, optionally 1-10 wt. % of a degradation enhancer, and optionally 1-10 wt. % of particle dispersion aids; (b) the multifunctional particles are anhydrous; and (c) the hydrophobic active ingredient is encapsulated in a crosslinked polysaccharide matrix. Alternative multifunctional particles useful in the invention are also disclosed.
