STRUCTURAL UNDERBLANKET UNIT FOR BLANKET CYLINDERS OF PRINTING MACHINES AND PROCESS FOR ADJUSTING A DISTANCE OF A BLANKET FROM A WALL OF A BLANKET CYLINDER
A structural underblanket unit (10) for blanket cylinders (100) of printing machines, comprising a first layer (11) made of rubber, a second layer (12) made of polyester and a third layer (13) made of fabric. The layers (11, 12, 13) are solidly bonded to one another so as to define a multilayer structural unit (10) having an overall transversal thickness (S) corresponding to the sum of the transversal thicknesses (S11, S12, S13) of said layers, the order of bonding of said layers being any whatsoever. A process for adjusting a distance of a printing blanket (101) from a wall (102) of a blanket cylinder of a printing machine.
PRE-ASSEMBLED STRUCTURE FOR FLEXOGRAPHIC PRINTING OF CORRUGATED CARDBOARD
The invention refers to a structure consisting of a set of pre-assembled elements on a polyester base used for the flexographic printing of corrugated cardboard, which is advantageously distinguished by the inclusion of adhesive foam directly between the printing plant and the polyester of the base to which the printing plate is fixed, which, among other advantages, improves the printed quality and reduces the pressure required for the cardboard to be covered by the ink with respect to conventional systems used until now for the same purpose.
ADAPTING SLEEVE WITH HYDRAULIC PADS FOR A FLEXOGRAPHIC PRINTING MACHINE
An adapting sleeve for flexographic printing machines defines an exterior surface appropriate for the mounting of a printing sleeve. The adapting sleeve has an outer cylindrical member made of a rigid material and surrounding an inner cylindrical member that defines a cylindrical passage for mounting of the adapting sleeve on a rotary core of a flexographic printing machine. The adapting sleeve has some ring separators that are mounted between the outer cylindrical member and the inner cylindrical member and spaced longitudinally from each other. The adapting sleeve has a hydraulic device that includes hydraulic pads arranged between the inner surface of the inner cylindrical member and the ring separators and connected by a hydraulic circuit to a pressurization element that is actionable manually from the exterior of the adapting sleeve.

Seamless sleeve and seamless substrate
A seamless, embossed or cast substrate is formed using a seamless sleeve having a seamless surface relief formed thereon and configured to slide over an cylindrical base in an embossing or casting assembly. The substrate is a flat web, foil, or film of, for example, paper, polyester, polypropylene, metal or other elongated flat material. The surface relief can be applied through interfering ablation, non-interfering ablation, ink jet printing, or other techniques wherein a seamless surface relief is formed onto the seamless sleeve. A method of making a seamless, embossed or cast substrate includes expanding a diameter of a seamless sleeve having a seamless surface relief formed thereon, sliding the expanded seamless sleeve onto a cylindrical base, allowing the diameter of the seamless sleeve to contract around the cylindrical base, and conveying a substrate through the embossing or casting assembly and embossing or casting the seamless surface relief into the substrate.

Device for measuring elevations on the surface of a rotary body
A device for measuring elevations of a surface of a rotary body embodied as a cylinder, roller, sleeve, plate or flexographic printing plate for graphic industry machines includes a first motor for rotating the rotary body about an axis of rotation and a measuring device for contactless measurement which is part of or integrated into a mounter for printing plates. The measuring device allows the printing forme to be measured and analyzed to check mounting quality and to detect diameter differences. The measuring device preferably further includes a reference object, such as a wire tautened in an axially parallel direction, a second motor and, if desired, a further second motor for adjusting the measuring device and/or the reference object in a direction perpendicular to the axis of rotation. The device provides a fast way of measuring the elevations, such as flexographic print dots, with great accuracy.

Resin laminate and relief printing original plate
A resin laminate having a structure in which a support, an intermediate layer and an image-forming resin layer are laminated in the order mentioned, the resin laminate including (A) a cationic polymer in the image-forming resin layer, and (B) an anionic polymer in the intermediate layer in contact with image-forming resin layer, wherein the (B) anionic polymer is a modified and partially saponified polyvinyl acetate in which a carboxyl group is introduced to a polymer side chain using a hydroxyl group of a partially saponified polyvinyl acetate as an origin of introduction.
Printing plate unit
A printing plate unit to be demountably mounted on a printing plate mounting portion of a plate cylinder includes a printing plate and a printing plate coupling member. A length of the printing plate coupling member is larger than a width of the printing plate so that the printing plate coupling member is provided with a projecting portion projecting from the printing plate formed cylindrically in an axial direction. The printing plate unit is fitted to the printing plate mounting portion from one end side, and is demounted from the same one end side by gripping the projecting portion of the printing plate coupling member in a state both end portions of the printing plate formed into a cylindrical shape are coupled to each other by the printing plate coupling member.
