The present invention is further directed to a method of protecting crop plants by mixing a composition containing clothianidin, at least one dispersant selected from the group consisting of sodium alkyl naphthalene sulfonate condensate, alkyl polyglycoside and a mixture thereof, an inorganic compound selected from the group consisting of attapulgite, magnesium aluminum silicate, silicon dioxide and aluminum oxide and glycerol with at least one liquid fertilizer and applying the mixture to the plant, an area where the plant is growing or an area where the plant is intended to grow.

HERBICIDE TOLERANT PROTEIN, CODING GENE THEREOF AND USE THEREOF
20190106705 · 2019-04-11 ·

A herbicide tolerant protein SUM1, a coding gene thereof and a use thereof, wherein the herbicide tolerant protein comprises: (a) a protein having an amino acid sequence as shown in SEQ ID NO: 1; or (b) a protein which is derived from (a) by substituting and/or deleting and/or adding one or more amino acids in the amino acid sequence of (a), and has the activity of thifensulfuron hydrolase. The herbicide tolerant protein SUM1 can show a higher tolerance to a plurality of sulfonylurea herbicides, can tolerate four-fold field concentration, and thus has a broad application prospect in plants.

WATER CONDITIONERS FOR AGRICULTURAL FORMULATIONS
20240237653 · 2024-07-18 ·

Water conditioner compositions useful for agricultural formulations are disclosed. The compositions comprise ammonium sulfate, water, an optional antifreeze agent, and a blend comprising a C.sub.12-C.sub.14 fatty amine oxide and a C.sub.8-C.sub.10 fatty amine oxide. Agricultural formulations that comprise a weak acid-based herbicide and the water conditioner compositions are also described. The fatty amine oxides are compatible with the levels of ammonium sulfate needed for effective water conditioning. The formulated water conditioners resist separation for weeks at elevated and cold temperatures. Compared with water conditioners that contain alkylpolyglucosides, those formulated with the fatty amine oxide blends have reduced foaming problems and excellent wetting properties at relatively low surfactant concentration, thus demonstrating performance and cost advantages.
