A printable sheet assembly and method provide for feeding cardstock sheets through a printer. The printable sheet assembly may include a first fold region. The first fold region comprises a robust perforated line disposed horizontally across the sheet assembly. The printable sheet assembly may include a second fold region. The second fold region may comprise a second robust perforated line disposed horizontally across the sheet assembly. The sheet assembly may include a product such as a name tag, business card, label, or card formed into the sheet assembly and configured to be processed through a printer device to receive indicia thereon.

Embodiments disclosed herein include a three-dimensional display, such as a flower bouquet, that is arranged to be popped open. The three-dimensional display includes an outer layer and one or more elastomeric or biasing members arranged pop open and/or to hold the display in the open position. In some embodiments, the outer layer includes flower with stems and leaves. In some embodiments, the bouquet includes inner layers attachable to the outer layer. In some embodiments, the elastomeric or biasing member includes one or more elastic bands. In some embodiments, the three-dimensional display may be popped open by pressing the side panels of the display.

An ink-receptive composition for coating a substrate provides outstanding outdoor durability and color fade resistance. The ink-receptive composition includes a polymeric binder comprising an ethylene-based polymer, a pigment, a light stabilizer package comprising UV-absorber and a light stabilizer, and a surfactant. Notably, the ink-receptive composition is preferably free of mordant, if any mordant is present, then that mordant is present in an amount less than 5 weight percent of the composition and more preferably less than 3 weight percent of the composition, Related methods of manufacture, methods of printing, and articles coated with the composition are obtainable with this coating.

A method of folding a sheet of paper. The method includes: folding the sheet of paper into an accordion shape comprising a plurality of pleats and collapsing the pleats to form a strip; folding the strip about in half to form a first folded strip; folding the first folded strip about a point that is about two-thirds a length of the first folded strip to form a second folded strip comprising an exposed portion that is about a third the length of the first folded strip; and folding the second folded strip about in half to form a third folded strip.

Printed matter having a continuous color pattern, such as a high-definition fine printed design pattern. The printed matter has a printed portion on a surface of a printing substrate. The printed portion is formed of an ink and visually recognized as a continuous color pattern. Further, the printed portion is constituted of a combination of a plurality of lines each being formed of an ink and having a line width of 100 μm or less. Of the plurality of lines, two adjacent lines have a spacing there between which is 50 times or less the line width of the line that is the narrower one of the two lines defining the spacing.

The system, method for creating the optical device, and device include a substrate, a plurality of thin film layers provided on the substrate, the plurality of thin film layers including materials creating thin film-specific reflectance spectra based on selected pluralities of materials each having their on respective refractive index, and a plurality of colorant layers applied to the plurality of thin film layers, the plurality of colorant layers including at least one colorant, the colorant created based on colorant-specific absorption spectra as defined by selected concentrations.

A system, method for creating an optical device, and a device to enhance human color vision are disclosed. The system, method for creating the optical device, and device include a substrate, a plurality of thin film layers provided on the substrate, the plurality of thin film layers including materials creating thin film-specific reflectance spectra based on selected pluralities of materials each having their on respective refractive index, and a plurality of colorant layers applied to the plurality of thin film layers, the plurality of colorant layers including at least one colorant, the colorant created based on colorant-specific absorption spectra as defined by selected concentrations.

A decor paper or foil for application to panel shaped substrates may include a base layer, an inkjet receiving surface, and a digitally printed pattern. The pattern may be obtained via printing with a single-pass printer. The pattern may include a matrix of a plurality, preferably at least 200, printed ink dots per inch. The matrix, as seen in the width direction of the paper or foil, may be generally uniformly made up with uniformly sized printed ink dots, with the exception of a minority of the area of the printed pattern, in which the matrix may be modified.
