Binding member, binding apparatus, and image processing system

A binding member is provided and includes: upper teeth having a tooth form configured to form a convex-concave portion on a recording material bundle; and lower teeth having a tooth form configured to form the convex-concave portion on the recording material bundle, and paired with the upper teeth. At least one of the upper teeth and the lower teeth includes: a first tooth row having a first tooth form having a first shape suitable for binding a first binding number of sheets; and a second tooth row having a second tooth form having a second shape suitable for binding a second binding number of sheets which is smaller than the first binding number of sheets.

Reversible dividers

A divider assembly is shown and described herein. The divider assembly may divide a stack of sheets, the divider assembly may include a body and a tab extending from the body. A first side of the body and a first side of the tab may include a cover or coating. The cover or coating may include designs or indicia. A second side of the body may include a covered portion and a non-covered portion. A second side of the tab may be non-covered. Non-covered portions may be compatible with more or different writing instruments than covered portions. The divider assembly may be reversible such that the first side or the second side may be utilized.

A sheet system including a sheet having an edge and at least one generally triangular hole positioned adjacent to but spaced apart from the edge. A side of the triangle is oriented generally parallel with the edge of the sheet.

A binding device includes a first pressing member that presses a recording-medium stack from one surface side of the recording-medium stack, a second pressing member disposed at a position opposed to the first pressing member to press the recording-medium stack from the other surface side of the recording-medium stack, and a reduction part provided in at least one pressing member of the first pressing member and the second pressing member to reduce creases in recording media of the recording-medium stack in a binding operation when a number of the recording media in the recording-medium stack is smaller than a maximum number of recording media to be bound by the first pressing member and the second pressing member.
