Banner making machine
A machine for applying support members to opposing sides of opposing edges of a sheet material includes a support tab applicator assembly that applies a first portion of a support tab along a longitudinal edge of a first side of the sheet material, a support tab finisher assembly that applies a second portion of the support tab disposed opposite the first portion to a second side of the sheet material disposed opposite the first side, and a hole punch assembly that cuts a hole through the sheet material. The machine also may include a strengthening film applicator assembly that applies a strengthening film along a longitudinal length of the first side of the sheet material and/or across the support tab.
SHEET PROCESSING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A staple-less binding unit including a pair of upper and lower teeth binds a sheet bundle which is discharged to an intermediate processing tray by a sheet discharge portion and whose one edge abuts against a rear edge stopper. A control portion switches a binding mode of the staple-less binding unit that implements the binding process on the sheet bundle in a first binding mode of binding the sheet bundle without any staple such that the pair of upper and lower teeth bite across an edge of the sheet bundle and in a second binding mode of binding the sheet bundle without any staple such that the pair of upper and lower teeth do not bite across any edge of the sheet bundle.
EXTENDED DIVIDERS
A divider assembly is shown and described herein. A divider assembly for dividing a stack of sheets, the divider assembly may include a sleeve having a first edge and an opposite second edge. A label display element inserted into the sleeve having at least one label indicia generally aligned along the first edge of the sleeve. At least one divider may include a first edge and an opposite second edge and a tab extending from the first edge. The tab may be extend beyond the first edge of the sleeve such that a user may view the at least one label indicia at a position adjacent and inward relative to the tabs.
Sheet processing apparatus and image forming system
A sheet processing apparatus includes a first binding unit configured to bind a sheet bundle; a second binding unit with greater number of bindable sheets than number of bindable sheets of the first binding unit; and a number-of-sheets determining unit configured to determine whether number of to-be-bound sheets exceeds the number of bindable sheets of the first binding unit. The first binding unit moves to a binding position, and if the number-of-sheets determining unit determines that the number of to-be-bound sheets exceeds the number of bindable sheets of the first binding unit, the first binding unit moves away from the binding position. When the number-of-sheets determining unit determines that the number of to-be-bound sheets exceeds the number of bindable sheets of the first binding unit, the second binding unit moves to the binding position.
ONE-PIECE RIGID COVERS FOR DISC-BOUND FOLD-OVER BINDING SYSTEM AND USE OF COMPOSITE MATERIAL FOR MAKING THE SAME
The invention relates to a cover for disc-bound, fold-over binding systems, comprising a series of parallel T-shaped slits, characterized by the fact that the cover consist of a one-piece sandwich panel containing two rigid outer layers which are permanently attached to a flexible core layer, wherein the sandwich panel is provided with an area which runs parallel to the edge of the cover wherein between 0.1% and 100% of the outer layers of the sandwich panel is removed.

Divider adhesion strip assembly
Disclosed is a divider adhesion strip assembly that includes a sheet with a front side and a bottom side having a perimeter that is defined by a first edge, a second edge, a third edge, and a fourth edge wherein the first edge is opposite the second edge and the third edge is opposite the fourth edge. A first laminate strip portion may be adhered to the front side of the divider sheet. The first laminate strip portion is positioned along the first edge of the sheet and extends between the third edge and the fourth edge. A plurality of apertures may be aligned adjacent the second edge of the sheet. A tab member having indicia thereon and an adhesive portion may be provided wherein the adhesive portion is configured to adhere to the first laminate strip portion such that the indicia extends past the perimeter of the sheet.
Notebooks with removable components
Described herein are examples of notebooks with removable components, comprising a front cover, a back cover, binding, and internal pages. The front cover and back cover are prepared from rigid or semi-rigid materials. The front cover comprises personalization space, and the front cover or back cover comprises a removable component. The removable component is separated from the front cover or back cover by an exterior edge and connected to the back cover by tabs. The exterior edge and tabs form a continuous perimeter around the removable component. The tabs are configured to be broken using average human finger strength allowing the removable component to be fully separated from the back cover.

Binding system for retaining bound components
A binding apparatus including a plurality of generally coaxially arranged binding coils. Each binding coil includes a pair of generally parallel wires terminating in a tip. Each binding coil is coupled to an adjacent binding coil by a connection portion extending generally parallel to an axis of the binding apparatus. At least one binding coil is directly circumferentially attached to itself, or to a connection portion.
