Pen
A is a pen including: an ink reservoir that stores an ink including decorative particles and a pen tip section. The ink reservoir includes a tubular casing member having liquid blocking properties and an ink occlusion material disposed inside the casing member. The casing member has a first opening end and a second opening end. The ink occlusion material includes multiple fibers disposed in the casing member and the multiple fibers respectively having one ends and other ends each disposed at a position corresponding to the first opening end or the second opening end of the casing member.
Wicking nib device and system
The technology described herein relates to a system and device for saturating an absorbent wicking nib with colored ink supplied by an ink pad having a well configured to receive a portion of the sidewall of the nib. Different colors of ink can be transferred to different portions of the nib sidewall to result in a multicolor marker nib.
BRASS ALLOY FOR WRITING INSTRUMENT TIPS
A tip for a handheld writing instrument-includes a brass alloy comprising the following composition: Cu in an amount of from about 52 wt.-% to about 62 wt.-%, Sn in an amount of from about 0.1 wt.-% to about 1.0 wt.-%, Fe in an amount of from about 0.1 wt.-% to about 1.0 wt.-%, Si in an amount of from about 0.05 wt.-% to about 0.5 wt.-%, Ni in an amount of from about 0.05 wt.-% to about 0.5 wt.-%, Pb if present, in an amount of less than about 0.05 wt.-%, optionally other elements in a total amount of less than about 3 wt.-% (impurities), and Zn as balance.

COLOR LINKER
The application relates to a color linker comprising a base segment including a first portion and a second portion, each of which are configured to allow ink to flow therethrough, and a barrier positioned between the first and second portions, the barrier being configured to prevent the exchange of ink between the first and second portions; a mixing segment adjacent to the base segment, a tip segment adjacent to the mixing segment, and a tip applicator adjacent to the tip segment, the tip applicator being configured to deposit ink onto a writing surface.
Application container
An application container (1) includes a container main body (2); an inner plug member (20); and an impregnation material (30). The inner plug member (20) includes an impregnation material accommodating portion (21), and a valve body accommodating portion (22) which includes a valve seat (22a) on an impregnation material accommodating portion (21) side and a valve body support portion (22b) on a container main body (2) side and in which a valve body (22c) is disposed so as to be movable between the valve seat (22a) and the valve body support portion (22b). A communication groove (50) which forms a gap between the valve body (22c) and the valve body accommodating portion (22) in a state where the valve body (22c) is supported by the valve body support portion (22b) is formed.
Ink-based marking device having a multi-component nib structure
Embodiments of the invention are directed to a multi-component nib structure and marking device for selectively generating primary marks and a secondary marks for lettering and shading. The marking device includes a multi-component nib structure, an ink source. The multi-component nib structure generally includes a first nib component, a second nib component, and optionally, a transfer component between the first nib component and the second nib component. In other aspects, the multi-component nib structure may allow lettering with different tones creating, for example, an ombre effect.
