Radio-opaque writing instruments and methods of use
A radio-opaque composition is formulated to enable a clinician to apply custom markings to a surface, such as a patient's skin or a surgical drape on the patient. More specifically, the radio-opaque composition may be used to write on the surface. The markings may be well-defined and contrast with the surface to which they are applied. Such a composition may include a liquid radio-opaque component that includes one or more radio-opaque materials that have been dissolved in a solvent, as well as a solid radio-opaque component with particles of one or more radio-opaque materials dispersed throughout a carrier, such as the solvent of the liquid radio-opaque component. Marking apparatuses that may be used to write with the radio-opaque composition are also disclosed, as are methods for using the radio-opaque composition.

INPUT TOUCH PEN
An input touch pen includes a digitizer refill contained inside a shaft tube and including a contact tip and a stepped tip portion rearward thereof, and a knock member protruding from an opening at a rear end of the shaft tube. The contact tip can protrude and retract through an opening at a tip end of the shaft tube. The stepped tip portion has a larger diameter than the opening at the tip end. A relationship A>X>Y is satisfied, wherein X represents a knock stroke of the digitizer refill, A a distance from the stepped tip portion to an inner surface at the tip end side when the contact tip is sunken inside the opening, and Y a distance that the contact tip is moved by operation of the knock member from a state of protruding from the opening to a state of being sunken inside the opening.
WRITING IMPLEMENT
The present invention provides a writing implement, including a pen tube, a guiding element, a motion sensor, and a controller. An end portion of the pen tube is provided with a nib. The guiding element and the motion sensor are disposed on the pen tube, and the guiding element is controlled by the controller. In the process of writing, the motion sensor detects words and pencraft characteristics when a user holds the pen tube for writing, and the controller controls the guiding element to generate a guiding force to guide the words and pencraft characteristics when writing, to approach or be equal to words and pencraft characteristics prepared to be written. Therefore, the present invention may train a user to copy the handwriting of a master or actively guide the user to wield the pen by means of the writing implement.
PEN
A writing instrument, having a writing tip and a writing part, which can receive a writing medium reservoir for the writing instrument, and having a removal aid which is releasably connected to the writing part for assisting the removal of a writing medium reservoir, which can be arranged or is arranged in the writing part, which removal aid having a receiving space for a connectable portion of the writing medium reservoir and one or more connecting parts for releasably connecting the removal aid to the connectable portion of the writing medium reservoir. The or each connecting part is configured such that, by the connecting part bearing against the connectable portion of the writing medium reservoir, the removal aid can be connected or is connected thereto by a releasable frictional connection.
Compact writing instrument
A writing instrument includes a barrel and a cap capable of being assembled with and secured to the barrel. The barrel carries a writing instrument. The cap carries a clip. A free end of the clip includes a detent that can be received by a corresponding indentation of an exterior surface of an external portion of the barrel when the cap is assembled with the barrel. The detent of the clip and the indentation of the barrel are capable of securing the cap and the barrel in their assembled relationship. The writing instrument may be compact. Methods of using a writing instrument include securing a cap of the writing instrument to a barrel of the writing instrument by causing a detent of a free end of a clip of the cap to engage a corresponding indentation of an exterior portion of the barrel.
Writing instrument with retractable tip comprising a pad for capacitive screen
A writing instrument includes a first barrel and a second barrel that are able to rotate relative to each other about the axial direction, and presenting a first distal end and a second distal end, a writing tip being arranged at the first distal end while a pad for a capacitive screen is arranged at the second distal end, the writing tip and/or the pad for a capacitive screen being retractable by causing the first barrel to rotate relative to the second barrel, and where a barrel among the first barrel and the second barrel includes a tongue extending in the circumferential direction, the tongue being configured to establish electrical contact with the other barrel among the first barrel and the second barrel.
Pen for writing and drawing purposes
A pen for writing and/or drawing purposes, and having a shaft and a core which is arranged within the shaft and is axially adjustable in the longitudinal direction of the shaft between an active position and an inoperative position. The core is completely arranged within the shaft in the inoperative position and projects with an overhang from a front end of the shaft in the active position. An actuating element is provided which is movable perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction of the shaft between an active position and an inoperative position and which is operatively connected to the core via a connecting element in such a way that, during a movement of the actuating element perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction of the shaft between the inoperative position and the active position, the core is axially adjustable in the longitudinal direction of the shaft.
METHOD OF MAKING PEN BODY RESIN RODS
A novel method for making decorative structures, specifically for use as writing instruments composed of a novel material composition that scatters and reflects light to exhibit a particular visual effect, i.e. a glitter effect. The composition is made of one or a combination of a number of different resins combined with a mica dust and/or a diamond dust. The resin is an organic compound and in composed partially or entirely from epoxide, polyester and/or polyurethane. Other additives can be added to the resin to enhance the visual effect including ground glass and dyes or pigments.
Pen Dispenser with Plastic Spring Actuator
A pen dispenser is provided with a tube having an open top for holding a fluid to be dispensed. A valve housing made of plastic and having channels on an inner wall is also provided. There is also an applicator nib made of plastic, along with a plastic spring actuator having a plastic button, and a button retainer. In a closed position the plastic spring actuator is sealingly engaged to the valve housing blocking the flow of fluid out around the applicator nib, and in the open position, the plastic spring actuator is depressed so it is no longer sealingly engaged to the valve housing, allowing the fluid to flow through the channels on the inner wall and exit the dispenser around the applicator nib.
