Retractable Nosecone Writing Instrument
Writing instruments are provided. A writing instrument includes a body, a nosecone, and an adaptor each being of generally hollow tubular shape. Each the body, the nosecone, and the adaptor each have a first end and a second end. The first end of the adaptor is configured to slidably couple to the nosecone second end. The second end of the adaptor is coupled to the first end of the body. The writing instrument includes a writing element with a mounting end and a writing end where the mounting end is removably coupled to the second end of the body. The writing instrument includes a locking mechanism configured to selectively lock the nosecone in a storage position or a writing position. In the storage position, the nosecone extends and covers the writing end. In the writing position, the nosecone retracts and the writing end of the writing element extends beyond the nosecone.
Retractable Nosecone Writing Instrument
Writing instruments are provided. The writing instrument includes a body, a nosecone, and an adapter. The body, nosecone, and adapter each include a generally hollow tubular shape and an inner surface, outer surface, first end, and second end. The first end of the adapter is coupled to the second end of the nosecone. The second end of the adapter is configured to slidably couple to the first end of the body. The writing instrument includes a writing element with a mounting end and a writing end. The mounting end of the writing element is removably coupled to the second end of the body. The adapter includes a track and the track includes a recessed channel in the outer surface of the adapter. The body includes at least one protrusion that extends inward from the inner surface of the body. The protrusion slidably engages with the track of the adapter.
Photocrosslinkable writing ink
The disclosure relates to a solvent-free photocrosslinkable writing ink advantageously for a pen, including, as a percentage by weight relative to the total weight of the ink: abetween 40 and 75% of a photocrosslinkable acrylate and/or methacrylate oligomer, bbetween 1 and 55%, optionally, of a photocrosslinkable acrylate and/or methacrylate monomer, cbetween 0.5 and 6% of a photoinitiator, dbetween 1 and 10% of a dye, advantageously a basic dye, and ebetween 0 and 10% of an additive. The present disclosure further relates to a method for securing a writing medium using the ink, the crosslinked ink obtained by crosslinking the ink and a pen for photocrosslinkable ink including the ink.

Antibody Pen
Conventional methods for applying the antibodies to the test paper include using expensive striping machines. The present disclosure addresses a need for easier means for preparing test paper for LFI assays. A pen is provided that may include a housing. The housing may include a distal end and a proximal end. The pen may include a tip connected to the distal end of the housing; an ink compartment disposed between the distal end and the proximal end of the housing; and a solution in the ink compartment. The solution may include an antibody or protein.
Compact writing instrument
A writing instrument includes a barrel and a cap capable of being assembled with and secured to the barrel. The barrel carries a writing instrument. The cap carries a clip. A free end of the clip includes a detent that can be received by a corresponding indentation of an exterior surface of an external portion of the barrel when the cap is assembled with the barrel. The detent of the clip and the indentation of the barrel are capable of securing the cap and the barrel in their assembled relationship. The writing instrument may be compact. Methods of using a writing instrument include securing a cap of the writing instrument to a barrel of the writing instrument by causing a detent of a free end of a clip of the cap to engage a corresponding indentation of an exterior portion of the barrel.
Writing instrument with retractable tip comprising a pad for capacitive screen
A writing instrument includes a first barrel and a second barrel that are able to rotate relative to each other about the axial direction, and presenting a first distal end and a second distal end, a writing tip being arranged at the first distal end while a pad for a capacitive screen is arranged at the second distal end, the writing tip and/or the pad for a capacitive screen being retractable by causing the first barrel to rotate relative to the second barrel, and where a barrel among the first barrel and the second barrel includes a tongue extending in the circumferential direction, the tongue being configured to establish electrical contact with the other barrel among the first barrel and the second barrel.
Pen for writing and drawing purposes
A pen for writing and/or drawing purposes, and having a shaft and a core which is arranged within the shaft and is axially adjustable in the longitudinal direction of the shaft between an active position and an inoperative position. The core is completely arranged within the shaft in the inoperative position and projects with an overhang from a front end of the shaft in the active position. An actuating element is provided which is movable perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction of the shaft between an active position and an inoperative position and which is operatively connected to the core via a connecting element in such a way that, during a movement of the actuating element perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction of the shaft between the inoperative position and the active position, the core is axially adjustable in the longitudinal direction of the shaft.
PEN
The invention refers to a pen with a shaft, a gripping zone, and a measuring device having a sensor, the measuring device measuring a force acting on the gripping zone. According to the invention, a cover is provided in the area of the gripping zone, said cover covering the measuring device on the outside.
THERMOCHROMIC COLOR-MEMORY COMPOSITION AND THERMOCHROMIC COLOR-MEMORY MICROCAPSULE PIGMENT ENCAPSULATING THE SAME
The present invention provides a thermochromic color-memory composition including (a) an electron-donating color-developing organic compound, (b) an electron-accepting compound, and (c) an ester compound represented by the following formula (1) or (2), as a reaction medium which controls color reaction of the component (a) and the component (b); and a thermochromic color-memory microcapsule pigment encapsulating the thermochromic color-memory composition.
