A multi-posture bedside writing pen includes a pen shell, a pen tip holder, a fiber rod and a fiber ink storage tube. The fiber ink storage tube is connected with the pen shell and located in the pen shell. The pen tip holder is connected with one end of the pen shell. The pen tip holder is axially provided with a through hole. The fiber rod is inserted into the through hole, one end of the fiber rod is exposed outside the pen tip holder, and an other end of the fiber rod is inserted into the fiber ink storage tube. A first gap is provided between the pen tip holder and the fiber ink storage tube.

A marking/drying tool applies ink to biological tissue using a single handheld device. A cylindrical body retains a felt tip movable between a retracted position within the body and an extended position outside the body for marking the tissue. A gas source has a manual valve to selectably dispensing a drying gas onto the tissue. In a preferred embodiment, an interlock prevents dispensing of drying gas when the tip is in the extended position and prevents the tip moving to the extended position when the manual valve is dispensing the drying gas.

A writing instrument having a writing part, having a writing tip, and having a protective cap which protects, the writing tip and is releasably connectable to the writing part. For the releasable connection between the cap and writing part, the writing part has several connecting structures, each with a connecting region which is curved in an ellipsoidal, ball-shaped manner, such as balls or semi-spheres, and the cap has an internal thread on the inside. The internal thread of the cap and the connecting structure of the writing part are positioned and aligned with each other in such a manner that, in each case with the cap in a state fastened on the writing part, the connecting region of the respective connecting structure engages completely or in part in a or the thread of the internal thread.

A mess-free coloring system comprising a coloring medium and optionally one or more coloring utensils is disclosed. The coloring medium can include a substrate with or without decorative effects and one or more coating layers on a surface of the substrate. In various examples, the one or more coating layers include a color-triggering developer, e.g., in the form of a substantially clear resin, and an opaque pigment. Decorative effects integrated with or disposed on the substrate, while initially obscured by the one or more coating layers, can be revealed when the coating layers are mixed with at least one color precursor stored and dispensed from a coloring utensil. The opaque pigment is selected and configured such that, upon receipt of at least one color precursor by the one or more coating layers, a change in the pigment's reflective index occurs as the pigment dissolves into the clear resin developer.

A mess-free coloring system comprising a coloring medium and optionally one or more coloring utensils is disclosed. The coloring medium can include a substrate with or without decorative effects and one or more coating layers on a surface of the substrate. In various examples, the one or more coating layers include a color-triggering developer, e.g., in the form of a substantially clear resin, and an opaque pigment. A writing instrument comprises an elongated barrel having a first end, a second end and a plurality of sides including at least three sides, each side having data printed along its length at uniform spacing increments from the first end, the data on any two sides that share the same distance from the first end are computationally related to the data on another side that shares the same distance from the first end. The data includes at least one of a numerical data or a phonic alphabet. The numerical data on a first side and a third side is linked to a sign that associated with an arrow respectively to indicate the direction to which the writing instrument should be rotated to signify the computation relation. Thus, the elongated barrel defines a triangular shaped writing instrument that allows a user to learn the computation relation between the data.

An oily ink composition may include propylene glycol monomethyl ether, a resin, a hydroxy acid ester having a boiling point of 150? C. or higher, a co-solvent, and a vapor-deposited aluminum pigment of a leafing type. The resin can dissolve in the co-solvent and the co-solvent may have a higher boiling point than the hydroxy acid ester.

A marking implement assembly for placing a mark on tissue, including a marker body including a marking implement extending from the marker body, a cap configured to fit to an end of the marker body so as to cover the marking implement, the cap including a housing providing an ink reservoir, where when fitted to the marker body at least a part of the marking implement is in fluid contact with the ink reservoir, the cap fitting onto the marker body in fluid tight manner.

An applicator pen for discharging a liquid onto a surface, preferably for applying a protective layer onto adhesive surfaces of a vehicle, in particularly for improved adhesion in the case of bonding applications, the applicator pen including a hollow body and an ampoule received in the hollow body, including a peripheral surface, for receiving the liquid, wherein the ampoule is able to be broken to enable the liquid to escape, wherein a breakage device is provided with an axially movable portion and is realized in such a manner that a movement of the movable portion in the axial direction results in the breaking of the ampoule.

An applicator pen for discharging a liquid onto a surface, preferably for applying a protective layer onto adhesive surfaces of a vehicle, in particularly for improved adhesion in the case of bonding applications, the applicator pen including a hollow body and an ampoule received in the hollow body, including a peripheral surface, for receiving the liquid, wherein the ampoule is able to be broken to enable the liquid to escape, wherein a breakage device is provided with an axially movable portion and is realized in such a manner that a movement of the movable portion in the axial direction results in the breaking of the ampoule.
