AGRICULTURAL PLANTER HAVING TAPERED BEARINGS ON ROW UNIT MOUNTING BRACKET
Tapered bearings are provided for use on each end of each link arm on an agricultural seed row planter mounted on a toolbar. The bearing is a low friction material and greaseless. The tapered design of the bearings allows the bearings to be adjusted as wear occurs, by tightening the link arm mounting nut which extends through the tapered bearing. The tapered bearing has an increased life and reduced maintenance, as compared to prior art roller bearings.
AGRICULTURAL WORK VEHICLE
An agricultural work vehicle, such as a tractor, is disclosed. The agricultural work vehicle includes a cab that has a front window and an openable rear window opposite the front window that can be transitioned from a closed position to an open position, an attachment device for connecting a work unit to the agricultural work vehicle, and a camera system with a control unit that is configured to monitor the connecting process. The camera system includes at least one camera which is positioned on the rear window and directed toward the attachment device when the rear window is open. In this way, the at least one camera may provide images to an operator of the agricultural work vehicle during the connecting process.
AUTOMATIC SELECTIVE CONTROL VALVE (SVC) CONFIGURATION DETECTION, AND OPERATION ASSIGNMENT, DIRECTIONALITY CONFIRMATION, AND CALIBRATION FOR TOWABLE IMPLEMENTS TOWABLE BY WORK VEHICLES
Systems and methods provide automatic assignment of control of a plurality of hydraulic circuits of an associated work vehicle to a plurality of operation systems of an implement. A hydraulic circuit assignment control unit includes a processor, a memory device, logic stored in the memory device, and a communication circuit operatively coupled with the processor. The processor executes the logic to associate an activation of a first hydraulic circuit of the plurality of hydraulic circuits of the associated work vehicle with a physical exercise of an operation system of the plurality of operation systems of the associated implement, and generates pairing assignment data representative of the association of the activated first hydraulic circuit with the physical exercise of the operation system of the implement. The logic generates directionality confirmation and calibration data that is communicated to the plurality of operation systems with the pairing assignment data.
INTEGRATED TRANSPORT COUPLING SYSTEM
A transport assembly for a harvesting head that includes head connector arms, a transport axle, and a coupling system with a latch actuator, and first and second latch mechanisms coupled to the latch actuator and located at opposite ends of the transport axle. The transport assembly functions in working and transport modes. In the working mode, the first and second latch mechanisms latch the first and second head connector arms to the transport axle to latch the harvesting head to the transport axle. When the latch actuator is activated, the first and second latch mechanisms release the first and second head connector arms from the transport axle to allow the harvesting head to separate from the transport axle. When the latch actuator is not activated, the first and second latch mechanisms can be biased to remain latched.
Towed implement that compensates for unbalanced loads caused by offset centre of gravity
A towed agricultural implement including a first headstock element for connection to a towing vehicle, a second headstock element supporting a chassis member provided with a plurality of working implements, a pivot pin for connecting the first headstock member and the second headstock member and defining a horizontal axis of rotation between the first headstock member and the second headstock member, in which the second headstock member has a lateral centre of gravity offset from the axis of rotation. A compensating structure is provided between the first headstock member and the second headstock member to offset the unbalanced loads caused by the lateral centre of gravity being offset from the axis of rotation.
System for connecting implement to mobile machinery
A system is suitable for connecting multiple implements to a three-point hitch of mobile machinery for controllable side-shifting movement of the connected implements. The system comprises first, second and third apparatuses, each apparatus comprising a first framework, a slidable second framework laterally slideable relative to the first framework, at least one connector supported by the slidable second framework for connecting the slidable second framework to one of the implements, and at least one driver connected to the first framework and the slidable second framework for driving the slidable second framework laterally back and forth relative to the first framework. The second apparatus is attached to one side of the first apparatus and the third apparatus is attached to the other side of the first apparatus.
Agricultural working tools
A towed agricultural working tool with a central frame element, a headstock and left and right hand side frame elements connected to the central frame element, each of the side elements supporting at least one processing unit, the central frame element being connected at, at least one connecting location for pivoting movement with respect to the headstock in which one or more friction elements are arranged between the central frame element and the headstock at one of the at least one connecting locations. This has as an advantage that the pivoting movement of the central frame with respect to the headstock, in particular due to induced yaw, is reduced.
Agricultural tractor having a component storage system
An agricultural tractor having a component storage system. The storage system including a storage bracket which is attached to the pick-up hitch of the tractor. The storage bracket allows for the storage of components of the pick-up hitch when not in use, e.g. a pick-up hitch hook, a drawbar. As the bracket is attached to the pick-up hitch itself, the components are stored in a convenient location for the tractor operator, to allow for hitch components to be changed in a relatively fast manner.
Counter spring latch mechanism and agricultural machine
A latch mechanism is used with agricultural equipment, such as a mower, for securing the header of the mower to the tongue during transport. A pivoting catch is mounted on the trail frame on which the header is mounted. A receiver for the catch is mounted on the tongue. During mower transport the catch is biased into engagement with the receiver by a first spring and secures the header to the tongue in a parallel orientation. When the mower configuration is changed to operational mode the catch is disengaged from the receiver using a second spring attached to the catch. A cable attaches the second spring to a wheel arm of a field wheel. Deployment of the field wheel into the operation mode draws the cable and second spring into tension, overcoming the biasing force of the first spring and pivoting the catch out of engagement with the receiver.
