Combination tool for marking, measuring, and checking level
An example combination tool for marking, measuring, and checking level includes a holder for a marking device (e.g., a soapstone). The holder has a body formed by a first side, a second side, a front side, a back side a top side, and a flat bottom side. A securement releasably secures the marking device at least partially within the body. Turning the securement in a first direction tightens the marking device within the body of the holder. Turning the securement in a second direction loosens the marking device in the body of the holder so that the marking device slides in and out through an opening formed in the front side of the body to adjust a position of the marking device for use in marking. The example combination tool may also include measuring markings, a level, a clip, and a grip.

The method further comprises separating the double salt crystals from the impurities. Various products of the process are also described.
Crayon container
A writing utensil container formed from a single plastic mold, including a container front panel, a front bottom component, a container back panel, a back bottom component, and a container lid component. A bottom integral hinge component may pivotally couple the back bottom component and the front bottom component, allowing the container front and back panels to pivot toward and away from each other. A lid integral hinge component may pivotally couple to the container back panel with the container lid component for opening and closing thereof. The container front and back panels may have coupling mechanisms that selectively engage with each other to prevent pivoting about the bottom integral hinge component to retain crayon boxes between the container front and back panels. A front closure feature of the front panel may selectively engage with a lid closure feature for selectively retaining the container lid component in a closed position.
Writing instrument for carpentry
A writing instrument for primary use within carpentry a body that extends from a distal end to a proximal end having a marking tip. The body has a substantially round cross-sectional shape and the marking tip is offset from a center of the cross-sectional shape. The round shape can non-uniform, such as ovular or egg-shaped with the marking tip offset from the center of at least the length or the width thereof. The offset positioning of the marking tip relative to the outer surface of the body provides clearance to scribe a building material.
