CONVERTIBLE METAL BACKINGS AND RELATED METHODS
A substrate usable with a double-side adhesive strip to suspend the substrate to a wall surface. The substrate can have one or more access holes located within an outer perimeter of the substrate. Each access hole has an inner perimeter inwardly of the outer perimeter that is sized and shaped to allow a tab of the double-sided adhesive strip to be extracted through the inner perimeter, after the substrate is suspended on the wall surface. Various articles can attach to the suspended substrate, such as through magnetic attachment, a hook, or a shelf.
MAGNETICALLY CONNECTABLE SPINNER DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MAKING THE DEVICE
There is disclosed a device having a magnetic connection comprising a first body section, a second body section; at least one first magnet coupled to the first body section and at least one second magnet coupled to the second body section. The first magnet is polarized to have a first magnetic field; and the second magnet is polarized to have a second magnetic field that is configured to attract the first magnet. The first magnet and the second magnet have a circular or a polygonal cross-section and the magnetic fields are configured so as to keep the magnets in contact the first magnet is rotating around the second magnet. There is also a method for manufacturing the device which includes determining the lengths and weights of the two body sections, determining the strength of the two magnets and the geometry of the two magnets connecting the two bodies together.
MAGNETICALLY CONNECTABLE SPINNER DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MAKING THE DEVICE
There is disclosed a device having a magnetic connection comprising a first body section, a second body section; at least one first magnet coupled to the first body section and at least one second magnet coupled to the second body section. The first magnet is polarized to have a first magnetic field; and the second magnet is polarized to have a second magnetic field that is configured to attract the first magnet. The first magnet and the second magnet have a circular or a polygonal cross-section and the magnetic fields are configured so as to keep the magnets in contact the first magnet is rotating around the second magnet. A contractor pencil sleeve having a magnet and hook and loop fastener is provided. The contractor pencil sleeve may comprise a cylindrical body. A magnet may be attached to a first side of the cylindrical body. A hook and loop fastener strip may be attached to a second side of the cylindrical body opposite the first side. The cylindrical body may be 1 inch in length. The cylindrical body may be sized to fit most standard contractor pencils. The magnet may be thin and high-quality. The hook and loop fastener strip may be durable and securely affixed. The cylindrical body may be made of a durable material. The durable material may be plastic or lightweight metal. The sleeve may be attachable to various surfaces via the magnet or the hook and loop fastener strip. The sleeve may serve as a reference for 1-inch measurements.

Tethered pencil device
A tethered pencil device is provided. The device is primarily comprised of a body, a tether anchor, a base, an eraser, and a tip. The body is preferably made of a metal or rigid plastic material and retains all the functions of any pencil known in the art. A tether connects the body of the device to the base, which is attached to a desk or other workstation. A button may be pressed to protrude a lead from the device in which a user may write. An eraser may remove any mistakes in writing. The body of the device may then be placed into a channel of the base for storage until the device is required again.
Tethered pencil device
A tethered pencil device is provided. The device is primarily comprised of a body, a tether anchor, a base, an eraser, and a tip. The body is preferably made of a metal or rigid plastic material and retains all the functions of any pencil known in the art. A tether connects the body of the device to the base, which is attached to a desk or other workstation. A button may be pressed to protrude a lead from the device in which a user may write. An eraser may remove any mistakes in writing. The body of the device may then be placed into a channel of the base for storage until the device is required again.
