Free-standing board with retractable wheels
A mobile writing board system includes a frame extending from an upper portion to a lower portion; a writing board secured to the frame; a module secured to the lower portion of the frame; and a mobile device secured to the lower portion of the frame. The mobile device includes a housing; and a plurality of wheels configured to move within the housing while in a stationary position and configured to extend outside the housing during transit.
LIGHTBOARD SYSTEM
A lightboard system providing the multiple advantages required by presenters to audiences. Wheels support and render mobile a base. Supported by the base, a frame defines an opening and includes pairs of vertical struts and corresponding vertical tubes, the tubes sliding along the struts in a telescoping movement to raise and lower the frame height. A clear screen is fixed within the opening; the height of the screen is adjusted as the frame telescopes. The screen has a front face displaying content from presenters and an opposing rear face, and induces paths for and scattering of light to highlight the content. A dimmable light source is embedded in the frame and illuminates the screen. Attached to a telescoping mount on the frame, a video camera is directed toward the rear face, streams or records the content to create images, and automatically flips the images for viewing by audiences.

Multiple-polarization cloaking for projected and writing surface view screens
A system includes a view screen with polarized output. The view screen may include a projected view screen or writing-surface view screen. A window capable of blocking the polarized output at least in part cloaks the view screen to frustrate viewing of the view screen through the window. In some cases, the window includes an array of panels capable of blocking multiple polarizations. The array may disrupt multiple different polarized view screen outputs while maintaining transparency to unpolarized light. In some cases, the window capable of blocking polarized output may be paired with view screen cover that converts view screen output in an unblocked polarization to one of the one or more polarizations blocked by the window.
Frame assembly for displaying an object and method of making the same
A frame assembly for displaying an object is described. In an embodiment, the frame assembly comprises a printable, rigid material forming a rectangular shaped outer frame that defines an area in which the object, such as a photograph, is displayed. The outer frame is made of a rigid, multilayer substrate that has been machined with grooves that allows it to be manipulated to form front and side walls, such that an image can be printed or wrapped around the entire surface. A method of making the frame assembly is also described. The method comprises printing an image on the frame, such as by direct digital or screen printing prior to assembling the parts of the frame.
Reusable writing surface with magnetic legs
A reusable writing surface is provided having a board having a front side and a rear side. A plurality of magnets is positioned on the rear side, wherein the plurality of magnets is configured to magnetically attach to a plurality of removable magnetic legs. The plurality of magnets are positioned such that the plurality of removable magnetic legs are configured to stand the reusable writing surface in either a vertical orientation or a horizontal orientation depending on which magnets of the plurality of magnets each magnetic leg attaches.
Modular wall organization system and accessories therefor
A modular wall organization system including one or plural board assemblies. Each of the board assemblies includes a frame and at least one planar panel held by the frame. Some of the frames include hollow frame sections and corner nodes, which connect the frame sections. The frame sections are configured to be used with hangers for mounting various types of accessories on the board assembly or for connecting plural board assembles together. Some of the accessories are trays, baskets, rolls of writing material, and panel insert assemblies. The panel insert assemblies include various panels, such as cork-boards, dry-erase boards, chalk-boards, fabric-boards, slat-boards, letter-to boards and other types of boards or panels. Some of the frames are in the form of solid frame sections.

Erasable writable materials
A magnetic erasable writable material for large format applications is disclosed, and includes a cast polyvinylchloride film with a mount surface opposite an etched receiver surface. Also incorporated is a transparent polyester film that has a marking side with a first predetermined hardness and an opposite seal side, laminated to the receiver surface. The marking side includes a clear superstrate that has a second predetermined hardness and applied to the marking side of the polyester film to lower its surface energy. The receiver surface is treated to have a surface energy adjusted to enable improved adherence of printed and preformed graphic elements, which are encapsulated when laminated between the PET film and receiver surface. The superstrate includes a perfluoropolyether, a polyurethane, an acrylated polyurethane, and/or an acrylate resin to harden the material.
Dry erase marker board system with solid wetting marker board
A marker board system having a dark colored, low hardness, low surface energy solid silicone sheet to wet to a vertically oriented high surface energy substrate on a smooth, flat back-side of the solid silicone sheet. A front-side of the solid silicone sheet is able to be written upon by brightly colored marker ink. The brightly colored marker ink is able to be easily erased from the front-side of the solid silicone sheet after being written upon the front-side of the solid silicone sheet.
