Modular reusable writing panels and system thereof
In one embodiment, a reusable writing panel including a writing surface and attachment mechanisms is disclosed. The writing panel may include a stacked layer configuration, having a front or first layer defining a writing surface and a rear or second layer defining a connection surface, with an optional spacer layer positioned therebetween. The connection surface may include one or more attachable or securable elements, such as a first attraction element and a second attraction element, that may generate different types of attraction forces, e.g., magnetic and suction. This variation in connection types allows the panel to be securable to various types of objects or surfaces, e.g., magnetic and non-magnetic surfaces.
Electronic whiteboard, program, and information processing method
An electronic whiteboard includes a power button, a display device, and circuitry that implements processes of detecting an operation of the power button being turned off, storing at least a part of visible information displayed on the display device from a time the power button was turned on until a time the power button was turned off in a first storage device upon detecting that the power button has been turned off, determining whether to display the visible information stored in the first storage device on the display device based on a first time corresponding to a power-on time recorded when the power button was turned on and a second time corresponding to the power-off time recorded immediately before the first time when the power button was turned off, and controlling the display device to display the stored visible information upon determining to display the stored visible information.

Planar electroluminescent devices and uses thereof
The present invention provides a planar electroluminescence (EL) device comprising a substrate layer, an electrode layer, a light emitting layer, and a modulating layer, wherein the electrode layer comprises a plurality of electrodes arranged on a same level over the substrate layer, and there is no contact between adjacent electrodes. In one embodiment, the device further comprises a hole injection layer (HIL), a hole transport layer (HTL), an electron injection layer (EIL) and an electrode transport layer (ETL). In one embodiment, the light emitting layer comprises organic light emitting polymers or organic light emitting molecules. The device of the present invention would emit light when liquid, polar component, or conductive solution is written directly on the light emitting layer. In one embodiment, the device can emit light for prolonged period when the light emitting layer is coated or deposited with conductive material.
TABLET DEVICE FOR RECORDING NOTES OR MARKINGS IN UNDERWATER OR SEVERE ENVIRONMENT
A tablet-like device is configured to have a slightly negative buoyancy and to hold a sheet of waterproof synthetic paper, or another removable, waterproof recording sheet, onto which notes or messages or sketches can be recorded via a writing implement, in an underwater or marine environment, or another extreme or severe environment. Since the tablet device is configured for use of sheets of waterproof synthetic paper, divers can work with their own personal pre-printed material underwater. Further, the tablet device also has the advantages of cost savings and reduced environmental impact.

Display apparatus and controlling method thereof
A display apparatus is provided. The display apparatus includes a display, a sensor to sense a touch on the display, a communicator, a storage configured to store matching information on which the display apparatus and at least one input source each match different touch types and a processor configured to, if it is identified that a touch type of the touch sensed by the sensor corresponds to a specific external input source based on the stored matching information, control the communicator to transmit information corresponding to the sensed touch to the specific external input source.
Moisture-erasable note taking system
A method of reusing a notebook provides a notebook having a synthetic-paper page. The method also provides a thermochromic ink pen which, when used to write on the synthetic paper page, leaves thermochromic ink markings. The method further provides a moisture carrier configured to have a liquid diffused therein. The moisture carrier is configured to erase the thermochromic ink markings from the synthetic-paper page by contacting the thermochromic ink markings when the moisture carrier is moist. The method then writes with thermochromic ink on at least a portion of the synthetic-paper page. Liquid is diffused in the moisture carrier, and the portion of the synthetic-paper page having the thermochromic ink is wiped with the moist moisture carrier, such that the thermochromic ink is erased from the synthetic-paper page.
