WHITEBOARD SUBSTRATE WITH MOUNTING BASE
A customizable play character system includes a play character and a base. The play character is formed from a semi-flexible substrate with printed indicia forming an internal design on the substrate's design face. An outer edge of the substrate forms a design outline, and the internal design and the design outline combine to create a first character. A stabilizing contour is formed along the bottom edge of substrate. The base has a top, a bottom, and an outer wall, and a contoured retention slot for receiving the play character. The contoured retention slot has a plurality of contact nodes structured to create a flexural deformation in the semi-flexible substrate when inserted into the slot. In some embodiments, the base is configured with a plurality of retention slots.
DISPLAY BOARD BALLISTIC SHIELD
A display board ballistic shield to protect students from gunfire includes a U-shaped base frame comprising a vertically oriented rectangular frame having two vertical posts, a top, and a bottom. The frame defines a vertical plane and a window area therethrough. A base leg having two ends is affixed to each side of the frame at a bottom thereof, each base leg perpendicularly oriented to the plane defined by the frame. A caster is affixed proximate to the ends of each of the base legs. A first ballistic resistant panel has a rectangular metal frame and is mounted within a bottom portion of the frame and coplanar therewith. A second ballistic resistant panel has a rectangular metal frame and is mounted within a top portion of the frame. The second ballistic resistant panel also includes a dry erase display board abutting in layered fashion the second ballistic resistant panel.
Whiteboard film, whiteboard, peep prevention system
A whiteboard film (100) according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a diffuse reflection layer (40) to diffuse-reflect visible light; an absorptive polarizing layer (20) having a first transmission axis that is parallel to a first direction; and a reflective polarizing layer (10) being disposed between the diffuse reflection layer (40) and the absorptive polarizing layer (20) and having a second transmission axis that is substantially parallel to the first direction. A whiteboard (100a) according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a diffuse reflection plate (40a) to diffuse-reflect visible light; an absorptive polarizing layer (20) having a first transmission axis that is parallel to a first direction; and a reflective polarizing layer (10) being disposed between the diffuse reflection plate (40a) and the absorptive polarizing layer (20) and having a second transmission axis that is substantially parallel to the first direction.

Adjustable Dry Erase Board for Vehicle Use
The present invention is a compact and portable dry erase board device designed for use in vehicles to facilitate easy note-taking. The device comprises a frame housing an erasable writing surface and a writing instrument that is removably stored in a retaining channel on the frame. The device is mounted on a vehicle's air conditioning (A/C) vent via a rubber sleeve that securely grips the slats. A metal ball joint enables for rotational and angular adjustment of the board and a threaded cap locks the board in place. A magnetic base provides quick attachment and detachment of the device from the A/C or heater vent. In one embodiment, the device includes an illumination source for low-light conditions and a wireless communication module for transmitting notes to a paired mobile device.
BOARD SYSTEM HAVING A FACE CONFIGURED FOR WRITING OR FIXING OF PRINTED TEXTS OR IMAGES ON PHYSICAL MEDIUM AND RELATED METHOD OF PREPARATION
The system of the invention comprises a first flexible sheet (1) which is made of at least one of the group consisting of an electromagnetic metal, a ferromagnetic metal alloy, or a first permanent magnetic component and a front face configured for writing or for the fixing of printed texts or images on physical medium and coated with a layer of coating composition. The first flexible sheet (1) is connected to a second flexible sheet (2), which is made of a material selected from at least one of the group consisting of a cork, an elastomer, a plastic and composites thereof.
The system can be rolled and unrolled without ruptures or loss of contact quality between the first flexible sheet (1) and the second flexible sheet (2) and provides comfortable writing for the user due to the buffering of the second flexible sheet (2).
Low Gloss Dry Erase Coating
A dry erase writing surface has a low gloss level of 20-40 that can be utilized as both a writable/erasable dry erase surface and a projection surface, formed by a single component, 100% solids polyurethane, ambient cured, dry erase-coating formulation. The coating formulation includes a low NCO isocyanate, a cure accelerating catalyst, a flow, leveling, and defoaming agent, a liquid matting agent to reduce the gloss level and the viscosity of the applied coating. The surface is ready for use in 24 hours. The coating has a low VOC of 10 between 49 g/l and 99 g/l. The coating is applied to a prepared surface of a substrate to form a film thickness of 1-3 mils. Marks on the dry erase surface remain virtually invisible after 2500 cycles.
Over Door Writing Surface System and Method of Use
An over door writing surface system has hangers that attach to a writing surface such as a whiteboard and to the top of a door. The hanger has two channels attached together, a door channel and a frame channel. The door channel is U-shaped and sized to accommodate the width of a door. The frame channel is tubular with an opening the length of the tube that allows the frame of the writing surface to enter and attach to it.
