System for impressing a relief pattern on a substrate
A die and counter die system for impressing a relief pattern onto a substrate, including at least one male die including a contact surface and defining a relief pattern, a compressible counter film including a base layer, a contact layer disposed opposite the contact surface of the at least one male die and spaced therefrom, and a compressible layer disposed between the base layer and the contact layer and attached thereto. The contact layer is featureless in a region thereof opposing the relief pattern on the at least one male die. The compressible counter film has a compressibility, in a direction perpendicular to a broad face of the compressible counter film, in the range of 5-30% at 1.35 MPa. The system further includes a compression mechanism adapted to move the at least one male die and the compressible counter film towards one another in an operative mode.
Insertion device and method for inserting a circular blank ring into an outer ring of a circular blank
An outer ring (29) is first transported to an insertion point (E) in the feed device (34). At the same time, a circular blank ring (30) is brought into a starting position (P) in the feed device. The circular blank ring (29) is first aligned coaxially with respect to an axis (A) using a centering body (61). The circular blank ring moves solely radially with respect to the axis (A). The circular blank ring (30) is then inserted into the hole of the outer ring (29). During this movement, the circular blank ring is aligned coaxially with respect to the axis (A) preferably using a centering channel (54). The circular blank ring (30) carries out a superimposed movement in the axial direction (V) and in the radial direction radially with respect to the axis (A).
Stamp device
A stamp device includes a main body. The main body includes a bottom plate on which a carrier and a stamp are placed, a pressing plate which cooperates with the bottom plate to press the carrier and the stamp, a limiting structure for limiting a lateral relative movement of the pressing plate and the bottom plate, and a connecting structure for folding and unfolding the main body. An upper surface of the bottom plate is provided with a working space for placing the carrier and the stamp. The present invention uses the pressing plate and the bottom plate to press the stamp and the carrier for stamping the pattern on the carrier. A movement space cooperates with a limiting member to limit the lateral movement of the pressing plate.
Surfacing materials and method of manufacture
A textured release sheet includes a substrate, which has been electron beam treated, including a top side and a bottom side. A matte surface is formed on the bottom side thereof, wherein the matte surface of the surfacing material is a coating of an radiation curable material applied to the bottom side of the substrate. The coating is an UV curable acrylate mixture applied to the substrate, wherein the UV curable acrylate mixture is irradiated with UV-radiation via an excimer laser emitter to produce a UV-irradiated layer wherein the UV curable acrylate mixture is only crosslinked on the surface thereof, which produces a matting surface through the effects of a micro-convolution.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REDUCING GIVEAWAY MATERIAL ON MINT PRODUCTS
A machine and method for reducing giveaway material on mint products. The machine may include a conveying assembly for conveying a plurality of mints products to be processed. The machine may also include a processing assembly for processing at least one given mint product at a time, so as to remove an amount of giveaway material from each one of the mint products. The machine may also include a recuperating assembly for recuperating mint products having being processed. The method may include the steps of a) evaluating at least one physical parameter of a given mint product to be processed; b) comparing said at least one physical parameter of the mint product to be processed with a minimum threshold physical parameter in order to determine an attainable range of giveaway material to be removed; c) projecting a targeted amount of giveaway material to be removed from the mint product to be processed depending on the attainable range of giveaway material; and d) removing the targeted amount of giveaway material via at least one surface of the mint product.

CRAFTWORK TOOLS AND KITS
A craftwork accessory may provide a portable and/or easy-to-use tool to help users accurately and repeatedly apply stamp impressions and the like to items such as cardstock. The accessory may include a base portion, one or more elevated side portions and cover portion. The side portions mays define a workspace for arranging the item. The cover portion may be movably attached to the base portion or a side portion, for example, by one or more hinges. In operation, the item and stamp may be aligned in the workspace and the cover portion may be pressed onto the stamp to stick the stamp to the cover portion. The cover may then be opened, the stamp may be inked, and the cover portion may be closed and pressed onto the item to stamp the item. The accessory may include alignment indicia on the base portion, side portions and/or cover portion to facilitate placement of the item and/or stamp. Method and Embossing Structure Using High Density Pressure for Creating Shadowed Or Curved Highly Reflective Areas on Rotationally Embossed Foils
A method of embossing individually light reflecting areas on a foil material, the method comprising feeding a foil material into a roller nip between a pair of rollers, wherein the pair of rollers comprises a motor roller and a counter roller, providing each of the motor roller and counter roller at least in a determined perimeter with a plurality of positive and negative projections on a checkered layout whereby positive and negative projections alternate in axial and radial directions. The method further comprises that the plurality of positive and negative projections of the counter roller seamlessly and gaplessly join with those corresponding negative and positive projections of the motor roller at the intended embossing of the foil material, hence enabling a homogeneously jointed embossed polyhedron shape in the foil, and shaping each positive and negative projection on the motor roller as an n-cornered polyhedron with a specific surface intended to produce on the embossed foil surface a corresponding individually light reflecting area, for each positive projection its specific surface corresponding to its top side, and for each negative projection its specific surface corresponding to its bottom side.
