Hot foil stamping device including a mobile window apparatus
The invention relates to a mobile window apparatus and a hot foil stamping device including the apparatus. The mobile window apparatus comprises at least one first window portion, the first window portion movable in a first direction; at least one second window portion movable in a second direction different from the first direction; and an actuating means configured to move the first window and the second window, respectively; wherein said actuating means moves said first window portion and said second window portion between a closed position and an open position, in said open position, said first window portion and said second window portion being spaced apart from each other to form an access opening, and in said closed position, the first window portion and the second window portion are close to each other so as to substantially shield the access opening and to keep a gap between the first window portion and the second window portion for passing through a sheet material for processed.
Tool and process for forming destacking formations on metal blanks
A tool for manufacturing blanks and a process for stacking and destacking the blanks in a production line are provided. The tool is incorporated into a blanking die used to trim a metal sheet and form the blanks. When the blanks are stacked, the destacking formations provide gaps between the adjacent blanks. The gaps provide an entry to blast air and thus reliably separate the blanks for pick up, so that only one blank is picked up at a time. The tool includes a deforming unit that has an engagement element for pressing deformations into the metal sheet. The deformations are pressed adjacent to at least one edge of the metal sheet so that when the metal sheet is trimmed, and the blanks are stacked, they are spaced by the deformations by adjacently stacked blanks.

Micro-embossing
A method for embossing optically diffracting microstructures in a thin foil, such as used to pack at least one of the list comprising food, chocolate, chewing gum, gifts, jewellery, clothes, tobacco products, pharmaceutical products, the embossing being produced with an embossing rollers set-up comprising at least one cylindrical embossing roller and a cambered counter roller. The method comprises confining the at least one cylindrical embossing roller and the cambered counter roller in a single roller stand of relatively small outer dimensions designed to withstand a pressure for the at least one cylindrical embossing roller and the cambered counter roller; using on a surface of a first one of the at least one cylindrical embossing rollers at least one raised embossing element adapted for microstructure embossing, whereby one of the at least one raised embossing elements comprises a platform distant at a height in a range between 5 m and 30 m above a surrounding surface of the first cylindrical embossing roller adjacent to it, and a pattern engraved on top of the platform (5), whereby the pattern comprises the optically diffracting microstructures with periodicity of gratings in the range smaller than 30 m that produce from a diffuse or directed source of light in the visible wavelength range diffraction images with high contrast and high luminosity in a defined observation angle; and adjusting the pressure for the at least one cylindrical embossing roller on the thin foil in a range less than 80 bar relative to a platform area of approximately 100 mm.sup.2.
Inner-circulation high-speed hydraulic system, hydraulic platform, and hydraulic platform assembly
An inner-circulating high speed hydraulic system, a hydraulic platform and a hydraulic platform assembly consisting of said systems, wherein the inner-circulating high speed hydraulic system comprises a hydraulic cylinder component and a pressure valve component, the hydraulic cylinder component including a high pressure cylinder, a hydraulic plunger, and a housing, wherein an axial hole and radial holes intersecting with the axial hole are disposed at the top/bottom of the high pressure cylinder and the high pressure cylinder is contained within the housing, wherein the inner-circulating oil chamber may communicate with the axial hole via the radial holes and further communicate with chambers at the top/bottom of the hydraulic plunger, wherein compressed air inlets are disposed on the housing and a lower end of the hydraulic plunger is connected to an actuating element; and a pressure valve component, comprising a pressure servo motor and a pressure plunger driven by the pressure servo motor to move up and down within the axial hole disposed at the top/bottom of the high pressure cylinder. Accurate control on dwell time for pressing at the up and down stop points of the platform, and highly precise adjustment to duration of the dwell time are enabled by the present invention. Thus, a stamping process with high quality is achieved.
Method and device for transferring a decorating segment of an embossing film
A method for transferring a decorative section of a stamping foil onto a substrate by means of an embossing die, wherein the stamping foil includes a carrier film and a transfer ply arranged on the carrier film. The method includes: a) Provision of the stamping foil; b) Embossing or pressing of at least one compression section spaced apart from the edge of the decorative section, into the transfer ply; c) Stamping of the decorative section onto the substrate; d) Detachment of the residual stamping film from the substrate embossed with the decorative section.
Embossing with printed relief pattern
An embossing apparatus includes an embossing die that includes a printed relief pattern made up of multiple layers of a deposited material. A resilient surface presses media against the embossing die such that embossed features corresponding to the embossing die are formed in the media. A method for embossing media includes forming an embossing die by depositing multiple layers of ink on a impression layer to form a relief pattern and pressing media against the embossing die to transfer the relief image to the media.
Surface texturing of deforming tools
A method of producing a deforming tool (2) having a structured embossing surface (4) which can be brought into contact with a surface of a substrate (1) for plastic deformation of the substrate, includes the steps of determining a target structure to be produced on the substrate (1); geometrically distorting the target structure, such that an embossing image structure is obtained; inverting the embossing image structure, such that the embossing structure for the embossed surface (4) is obtained; and producing the embossing surface (4) of the deforming tool (2) according to the embossing structure.
Craftwork tools and kits
A craftwork accessory may provide a portable and/or easy-to-use tool to help users accurately and repeatedly apply stamp impressions and the like to items such as cardstock. The accessory may include a base portion, one or more elevated side portions and cover portion. The side portions may define a workspace for arranging the item. The cover portion may be movably attached to the base portion or a side portion, for example, by one or more hinges. In operation, the item and stamp may be aligned in the workspace and the cover portion may be pressed onto the stamp to stick the stamp to the cover portion. The cover may then be opened, the stamp may be inked, and the cover portion may be closed and pressed onto the item to stamp the item. The accessory may include alignment indicia on the base portion, side portions and/or cover portion to facilitate placement of the item and/or stamp. The accessory may also include fastening mechanisms, such as magnetic elements, to facilitate placement of the item and/or stamp.
