A paint roller brush cleaning device utilizes a multicompartment tank and lid. The lid has an aperture configured to accommodate the insertion of a roller brush into the interior environment of the tank. The aperture is in environmental communication with an angular track disposed upon the lid. The interior environment of the tank is partitioned into four fluid retention compartments and a single dry storage compartment. An electrical drill adapter is provided to enable the attachment of a paint roller brush thereby permitting the adapter and paint roller brush to navigate the angular track and plurality of interior compartments.

A tool is provided that includes unitary plate that includes a blade portion and a tang portion. The blade portion can include an edge. The tang portion can include a positioning hole, a first hole, a slot, a second hole, a rivet hole, and one or more teeth (also referred to as one or more barbs) on a side of the tang portion. A binder for artists to record and retrieve color formulations comprises a plurality of sheets of paper that are adapted to accept both paint and text that relates to the specifics of a particular paint formula. Paint impermeable interleafing sheets are positioned between and overlie the respective sheets of paper to prevent bleeding between adjacent sheets. The sheets of paper and the interleafing sheets are adapted to be positioned between a front cover and a rear cover. The sheets of paper, the interleafing sheets, and the front cover and the rear cover are connected to a binding that holds the foregoing together. The sheets of paper are constructed and arranged to be removed and reinserted into the binding between the adjacent glassine interleafing sheets so that reinsertion after use, the applied paint can dry without smudging or contaminating adjacent sheets of paper.

Cleaning system and method for paint rollers uses a liquid container. A plurality of cage shafts extend into an interior of the container. Each cage shaft supports a cage which is sized and shaped for holding a tubular paint roller. A drive system is configured to mechanically couple a drive shaft to each of the plurality of cage shafts. Rotation of the drive shaft causes a concurrent rotation of the plurality of cage shafts within the container to facilitate cleaning and drying operations.

Expert system and method for computing an adjustment procedure for obtaining an adjusted exterior waterborne paint composition for an exterior surface to be painted at a paint application site on a specific date. A starting exterior waterborne paint composition comprises base chemical compounds. When one or more computed target values of target chemical compounds for the adjusted exterior waterborne paint composition are determined different from the plurality of base values, the adjustment procedure is computed for transforming the starting exterior waterborne paint composition into the adjusted exterior paint composition and instructions comprising the adjustment procedure are sent to a remote device.

The novel cavitation based cleaning devices preferably contain one or more cavitation creating elements and a reservoir holding the cavitation creating elements with an opening for introduction of an item in proximity to the cavitation creating elements. The reservoir may be or include a water filled reservoir. Collapse of bubbles created by the cavitation creating elements preferably pulls debris from the item. In some aspects, the reservoir is configured to permit introduction of an item comprising a paint brush. The debris may include wet, semi-dry, and/or dry paint on and/or inside the paint brush. The cavitation creating elements may include cylinders that spin in opposite directions within the reservoir. Cavitation is preferably created without using transonic methods or elements. Aspects of the invention also include methods performed by and/or using the novel cavitation based cleaning devices disclosed herein.
