Systems and methods for color selection are provided. A user device displays room types on a display, receives a room type selection indicating a particular room type, displays types of feelings, and receives a type of feeling selection indicating a particular type of feeling. The user device accesses a lookup table that associates the room types and types of feelings with paint colors such that each possible combination of room type and type of feeling is associated with a subset of paint colors. The user device determines the associated subset of paint colors in the lookup table for the combination of the particular room type and the particular type of feeling and displays the associated subset of paint colors as recommended paint colors for the combination of the particular room type and the particular type of feeling on the display of the user device.

A cylindrical conical cleaning tool that includes: an opening; a top edge with a first diameter; and a bottom edge with a second diameter, wherein the second diameter is smaller than the first diameter and said second diameter adapted to fit along an outer surface of a paint roller. The cylindrical conical cleaning tool further includes an inner surface, where the inner surface is adapted to channel moisture away from the paint roller. In another embodiment, the cylindrical conical cleaning tool includes a lip at the top edge, wherein the lip is adapted for gripping purposes.

The described herein is a method for identifying a best match to a metal deco target color and distributing the best match to interested parties for ongoing validation. The method creates a digital proofing database that matches, for example, PantoneLIVE™ target colors and sets a defined digital inkjet standard to within desired tolerances. Also described is a system that implements the method.

An apparatus for cleaning paint roller skins is provided. A rotatable roller skin holder is provided. An elongated hollow housing is attached to and surrounds the roller skin holder and has an end wall at a first end and with an opening at a second end opposite the first end, wherein the opening has a width that is wider than a diameter of the roller skins. A spray mechanism is attached to the housing for providing a spray along the length of the roller skin. A trigger handle is connected to the housing and the spray mechanism supports the housing and controls the flow of fluid to the spray mechanism, wherein fluid drains through the opening in the elongated hollow housing.

Methods and apparatus to quickly and securely fasten a tumbler cup to a spindle turner arm in a consistent and accurate manner. A spindle tumbler arm is inserted into a support body and contacts one or more cams. The cams move a plunger outward forcing a seal against a wall of an interior change securing turner arm against to the tumbler cup. Other embodiments include an expandable bladder placed into the tumbler cup; and a support attached via a threaded connection.

A paintbrush cleaning device is described. The paintbrush cleaning device comprises a concave soap tray having a cleaning brush at one end within the soap tray wherein the soap tray is configured to hold a soap for cleaning a paintbrush and wherein the cleaning brush is configured to scrape paint from bristles of the paintbrush. An optional cleaning comb is also described.

The device includes a first compartment that includes a receiving and positioning component and a channel configured to receive and position a wax stick at the receiving and positioning component. The device includes a second compartment having a melting component that includes a heating element, a temperature measurement element, and a nozzle. The nozzle includes a nozzle opening configured to receive the wax stick, the nozzle directly aligned with the channel of the receiving and positioning component. The nozzle also includes a nozzle tip configured to transfer melted portions of the wax stick from the nozzle to a design surface on a spinning component in a third compartment of the device.
