Creation of a Three Dimensional Liquid Art on a Surface by Utilizing a Super hydrophobic Coating
The embodied invention is to add coatings to a base board that will create three dimensional liquid art when a suitable liquid (such as water) is added to the board surface. In a preferred embodiment, a super hydrophobic coating is applied to the base board and then a hydrophilic coating in the shape of art is applied. A liquid will naturally collect into the hydrophilic areas of the board to form defined artistic shapes and is repelled by super hydrophobic areas. Alternatively, in other embodiments, the board can be selected with a natural super hydrophobic surface or a natural hydrophilic surface, and then a hydrophilic coating or a super hydrophobic coating, respectively, is applied in an art shape.
METHOD FOR PROVIDING A ROLLER ASSEMBLY FOR CREATING DECORATIVE PATTERNS ON A WOOD MATERIAL SURFACE
A method for providing a roller assembly for producing a decorative pattern on a wood material surface, wherein the roller assembly comprises at least one decorative paint roller and at least one structured lacquer application or embossing roller, and the structured lacquer application or embossing roller and the decorative paint roller are matched to create a structured decorative pattern, includes the steps of applying first the decorative paint roller and then the structured lacquer application roller on the wood material surface. The method uses at least two different decorative paint rollers for creating two different decorative patterns are matched with a structured lacquer application or embossing roller.
Systems for making single-cup beverages
Systems and methods are shown for providing hot beverages using a beverage system integrated into a faucet. The faucet-integrated beverage system can include a hot water reservoir mounted under a countertop and fluidly coupled to a cold water supply line. The temperature and fill level in the hot water reservoir can be controlled using control circuitry provided on a circuit board communicatively coupled to the hot water reservoir and one or more sensors. A beverage supply line can extend from the hot water reservoir to a beverage dispensing unit, which can be coupled to the faucet or mounted on the faucet deck. The beverage system can also include an activation button mounted on the faucet or the faucet deck and communicatively coupled to the control board for initiating a brewing process.

FINISHING OF ADDITIVELY MANUFACTURED PARTS WITH SMOOTHING AND COLOR
A surface finishing apparatus and method for smoothing and coloring parts made by additive-manufacturing technologies is disclosed. The surface finishing apparatus includes a tank or chamber into which a part is placed. A colorant is added. The part is both colored and smoothed until the part is at a desired smoothness and color. The part may be smoothed by different suitable smoothing technologies, including abrading with solid media, spraying with a liquid fluid, spraying with solid particles entrained in a liquid fluid, or submersing in a liquid vortex. Also disclosed is a composition for a colorant for a finishing process that smooths a surface of an additively manufactured part while coloring the additively manufactured part.
