WHEEL SPOKE WITH THICKENED EDGES AROUND HEAT DISSIPATION HOLES AND ITS PROCESSING DEVICE
A lightweight wheel spoke for an automobile increases the strength around the heat dissipation holes by thickening the material around the heat dissipation hole on the inner wall of the spoke. The thinning of the material between the heat dissipation holes, that is where there is no heat dissipation holes on the tapered barrel, enables the tapered barrel of the spoke to form a unique concave-convex structure on the inner wall or the outer wall, thereby enabling the entire spoke to be secured.
Tire with non-spliced multilayered film innerliner
The present invention relates to a pneumatic tire having a non-spliced film innerliner comprised of a plurality of film layers where said film layers are of varied film moduli physical properties.
Cassette and bicycle wheel assembly
A cassette for a bicycle may include a plurality of sprocket portions joined together into a single unit. The cassette may include a cavity formed in the large end of the cassette. A related manufacturing method may include joining a first generally planar sprocket portion having a plurality of connector portions extending transverse to the plane of the first sprocket portion, to a second generally planar sprocket portion, e.g., by fusing at least one of the connector portions to the second sprocket portion.
BICYCLE RIM WITH ENLARGED OUTER RADIAL EDGES
A bicycle rim for carrying a tire. The rim includes a circumferential tire bed including first and second opposing edge regions a circumferential spoke face, and first and second side walls extending from the spoke face to the first and second edge regions, respectively. The first and second side walls include first and second side wall extensions radially extending from the first and second opposing side regions and terminating at first and second outer radial edges, respectively. Each of the first and second outer radial edges defining a maximum width that is at least 3.8 mm.
Spoke composed of braided fiber with hub and rim terminations
A spoke for use in connection with a wheel, the spoke having a braided fiber having a first end and a second end, a rod having a first end and a second end, whereby the first end of the rod is threaded and wherein the second end of the rod is disposed inside the first end of the braided fiber.
Wheel Unit for a Vehicle
In order to improve a wheel unit, in particular for a vehicle, comprising a wheel having a hub and a wheel rim which are connected to one another by spokes and are arranged for rotation about an axis of rotation, it is proposed that the wheel have connected thereto a disc unit arranged coaxially with respect to the axis of rotation, said disc unit carrying a brake ring for a disc brake and a sensor ring for detecting a rotary movement of the wheel unit.
BICYCLE GEAR AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SUCH A GEAR
A bicycle gear having a first coating layer obtained by a plasma electrolytic oxidation treatment and a second coating layer, overlapped on the first coating layer, that is a lubricating substance, preferably a fluoropolymer.
Wheel assembly
A wheel assembly includes a central hub, an outer rim including a spoke bed wall, and a spoke unit including first and second spokes. Each of the first and second spokes extends between the outer rim and the central hub, and has a first end connected to the spoke bed wall, a second end opposite to the first end and connected to the central hub and a span portion connected between the first and second ends. The first ends of the first and second spokes are respectively formed with first and second spoke bed connection portions where the first and second spokes are respectively connected to the spoke bed wall. With respect to the central hub, the second spoke bed connection portion is radially outboard relative to and circumferentially spaced from the first spoke bed connection portion.
HONEYCOMB RIM-TYPE WHEEL
The present invention relates to a wheel comprising a hub formed inside the wheel, a rim portion separated outwardly from the hub and forming a circumference on which a tire is fitted, a plurality of spokes connecting the hub and the rim portion, wherein the rim portion is characterized by including an air-tight rim formed in a cylindrical shape, and a protruded grid portion having a plurality of first recesses by being protruded from and equispaced around the circumference of the air-tight rim. In this way, the honeycomb rim-type wheel can be readily manufactured to have lightweight using a single casting job without sacrificing durability thanks to the protruded grid portion on the circumference of the air-tight rim, thereby reducing time and cost for manufacturing by reduced usage of molten metal.
Elastically deformable dummy vehicle for carrying out tests for driver assistance systems
The present invention relates to a vehicle (100), in particular a bicycle, for performing tests for a driver assistance system. The vehicle (100) has a base body (101) and at least one strut (102), which is formed to be dimensionally stable without influence of an impact force, which is generatable upon a collision of the vehicle (100) with a collision body, and is elastically deformable upon influence of the impact force. The strut (102) is connected to the base body (101) such that upon influence of the impact force the strut (102) is non-destructively detachable from the base body (101).
