WHEEL CLEANING DEVICE
The present application discloses a wheel cleaning device comprises a lifting rotating system, a central hole cleaning system, a cleaning system for inner rim and back cavity, a synchronous clamping drive system, an outer rim cleaning system, and a bolt hole cleaning system, etc. The device may not only separately clean the center hole, the bolt hole, the inner rim and the outer rim of the wheel, but also may regulate the position and the angle of each nozzle according to the diameter and the height of the wheel.
TORQUE BAR RETENTION FOR WHEEL ASSEMBLIES
A wheel assembly includes a wheel portion comprises a web having an inboard surface. The web may define a torque bar retention slot that extends from the inboard surface of the web. The wheel assembly may also include a bushing disposed in the torque bar retention slot, wherein the bushing comprises an open end and a closed end. Method of restoring a wheel to compliance and tooling for performing the method
A method of restoring a wheel (1) to compliance, the wheel having a plurality of ovalized bores (2). The method is characterized in that it includes at least a step of boring a first ovalized bore (2) with the help of a reamer (3) presenting a longitudinal pilot portion (3a) and a longitudinal cutter portion (3b), the cutter portion (3b) presenting teeth (4) defining a cutting diameter (D2), and the pilot portion (3a) presenting a pilot diameter (D1) strictly less than the cutting diameter (D2), the step of boring this first ovalized bore (2) consisting in inserting the reamer (3) into the first ovalized bore (2), beginning with the pilot portion (3a) and followed by the cutter portion (3b), the pilot diameter (D1) being such that it enables the reamer (3) to be guided in translation inside the first ovalized bore (2) for boring.

Truck wheel
A hybrid wheel for vehicles that includes a unitary lug structure, with a mount face and a dish section of the lug structure extending therefrom. The lug structure is usually a cast aluminum alloy. A wheel structure including a high strength polymer encapsulates a portion of the lug structure dish section. System and method for inducing motion in a rolling robot using a dual telescoping linear actuator
An embodiment is developed for a cylindrically shaped, elliptical rolling robot that has the ability to morph its outer surface as it rolls. The morphing actuation alters lengths of the major and minor axes, resulting in a torque imbalance that rolls the robot along faster or brakes its motion. A control scheme is implemented, whereby angular position and horizontal velocity are used as feedback to trigger and define morphing actuation. A goal of the control scheme is to cause the robot to follow a given velocity profile comprised of steps and ramps. Equations of motion for the rolling robot are formulated, which include rolling resistance torque caused by deformation of the outer surface tread. A computer program solves the equations of motion, and resulting plots show that by automatically morphing its shape in a periodic fashion, the rolling robot is able to commence from an initial position, achieve constant average velocity and slow itself.
