NON-PNEUMATIC TIRE AND TIRE ASSEMBLY
A non-pneumatic tire including an inner cylinder that surrounds an outer peripheral surface of a metal rim from an outside in a tire radial direction, an outer cylinder that surrounds the inner cylinder from the outside, and a plurality of elastically deformable connecting members that connects an outer peripheral surface of the inner cylinder to an inner peripheral surface of the outer cylinder. The inner cylinder is made of a synthetic resin material. A pair of holding flange portions is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the rim. The rim includes a first split body and a second split body. A size of the inner cylinder in a tire width direction is greater than a distance between inner surfaces, which face each other in the tire width direction, of the pair of holding flange portions. The inner cylinder is formed to be elastically deformable in the tire width direction.

The rim includes a first split body and a second split body. A size of the inner cylinder in a tire width direction is greater than a distance between inner surfaces, which face each other in the tire width direction, of the pair of holding flange portions. The inner cylinder is formed to be elastically deformable in the tire width direction.
WHEEL FOR A SUPPORT STRUCTURE
A wheel assembly includes a mounting plate for attachment to a rotatable axle, a plurality of elongate friction members for engaging a tire assembly, a plurality of first angular flanges extending radially outward and circumferentially in a first direction from the mounting plate, and a plurality of second angular flanges extending radially outward and circumferentially in a second direction, opposite the first direction, from the mounting plate. Each elongate friction member is disposed axially between one of the first angular flanges and one of the second angular flanges.
Flexible wheel assembly
A wheel assembly comprising a wheel disk and a tread member disposed around the wheel disk. The wheel disk can have a substantially conical shape when in an unloaded state, but be flexible such that it can deform under load to optimize and/or maximize contact area between the tread member and a driving surface.

Airless tire
The present invention is directed to airless tires. Exemplary airless tires include a hub configured for attachment to an axle and includes a hub support extending away from the hub. Such exemplary airless tires also include a heel configured around the hub and connected at a distal end of the hub support, whereby the heel includes an elastomer base oriented in a ring around a circumference of the hub support. Such exemplary airless tires also include elastomeric tubes extending radially outward from the heel. Other exemplary airless tires include a centerless hub assembly configured for attachment to an axle and a heel configured around the centerless hub assembly. The heel in such exemplary airless tires includes an elastomer base oriented in a ring around a circumference of the centerless hub assembly. These other exemplary airless tires include elastomeric tubes extending radially outward from the heel.
AIRLESS TIRE
The present invention is directed to airless tires. Exemplary airless tires include a hub configured for attachment to an axle and includes a hub support extending away from the hub. Such exemplary airless tires also include a heel configured around the hub and connected at a distal end of the hub support, whereby the heel includes an elastomer base oriented in a ring around a circumference of the hub support. Such exemplary airless tires also include elastomeric tubes extending radially outward from the heel. Other exemplary airless tires include a centerless hub assembly configured for attachment to an axle and a heel configured around the centerless hub assembly. The heel in such exemplary airless tires includes an elastomer base oriented in a ring around a circumference of the centerless hub assembly. These other exemplary airless tires include elastomeric tubes extending radially outward from the heel.
AIRLESS TIRE
The present invention is directed to airless tires. Exemplary airless tires include a hub configured for attachment to an axle and includes a hub support extending away from the hub. Such exemplary airless tires also include a heel configured around the hub and connected at a distal end of the hub support, whereby the heel includes an elastomer base oriented in a ring around a circumference of the hub support. Such exemplary airless tires also include elastomeric tubes extending radially outward from the heel. Other exemplary airless tires include a centerless hub assembly configured for attachment to an axle and a heel configured around the centerless hub assembly. The heel in such exemplary airless tires includes an elastomer base oriented in a ring around a circumference of the centerless hub assembly. These other exemplary airless tires include elastomeric tubes extending radially outward from the heel.

According to the present invention, when a first point (P1) is set on an end edge on an outer end portion (15a) side of a coupling member (15) and a fifth point (P5) is set on an end edge on an inner end portion (15b) side of the coupling member (15), and when a distance (H1) from the fifth point (P5) to the second point (P2) along a reference straight line (RL) passing through the first point (P1) and a tire axis is set to 0.80 times a reference distance (H) from the fifth point (P5) to the first point (P1) along the reference straight line, a distance (H2) from the fifth point (P5) to the third point along the reference straight line is set to 0.65 times the reference distance (H), and a distance (H3) from the fifth point (P5) to the fourth point (P4) along the reference straight line is set to 0.30 times the reference distance (H), the third point (P3) is disposed on the other side in the tire circumferential direction of an overall inclined straight line (SL) passing through the first point (P1) and the fifth point (P5), and a horizontal distance (D2) between the second point (P2) and the third point (P3) in a perpendicular direction (D) perpendicular to the reference straight line (RL) is larger than each of a horizontal distance D1 between the first point (P1) and the second point (P2) in the perpendicular direction (D) and a horizontal distance (D4) between the fourth point (P4) and the fifth point (P5) in the perpendicular direction (D).
Non-pneumatic support structure
An adjustable rim includes a first annular ring rotatable about a first axis, the first ring having radially extending first linear slots circumferentially spaced about the first ring, a first annular adjustment hoop rotatable about the first axis, the first hoop having circumferentially and radially extending first arcuate slots spaced about the first hoop, a second annular ring rotatable about a second axis, the second ring having radially extending second linear slots circumferentially spaced about the second ring, a second annular adjustment hoop rotatable about the second axis, the second hoop having circumferentially and radially extending second arcuate slots spaced about the second hoop, and an axially extending arcuate member having a first axial end and a second axial end. The first axial end is circumferentially and radially aligned with a first linear slot of the first annular ring and a first arcuate slot of the first annular hoop. The first linear slot and the first arcuate slot interact to move part of the arcuate member in only a radial direction.
