WHEEL ASSEMBLY INCLUDING GAS SPRING PISTON BIASING MEMBER AND RELATED METHODS
A wheel assembly to be coupled to a hub of a vehicle may include an inner rim to be coupled to the hub of the vehicle, an outer rim surrounding the inner rim, and gas springs operatively coupled between the inner rim and the outer rim to provide a gas suspension permitting relative movement between the inner rim and the outer rim. Each of the gas springs may include a gas cylinder having an inner surface, and a piston movable within the gas cylinder. The piston may include a shaft, a piston head coupled to the shaft and having at least one recess therein, and at least one biasing member within the at least one recess. Each gas spring may also include at least one damping member adjacent the at least one biasing member and within the at least one recess to frictionally engage the inner surface of the gas cylinder.

AUGMENTER FOR A LANDING GEAR DRIVE SYSTEM
A drive augmenter provide supplemental drive power to the wheel of a landing gear with a drive system. The landing gear has a wheel rotatably mounted to an axle, and the drive system selectively provides a driving force to rotate the wheel. The drive augmenter includes a piston slidably disposed with a cylinder, and selective pressurization of the cylinder drives reciprocating translation of the piston within the cylinder. A crank is coupled to the piston by a rod and is also coupled to a crankshaft. The crank is configured to convert translation of the piston into rotation of the crankshaft. The drive augmenter further includes a drive shaft coupled to the wheel and a clutch configured to selectively transfer rotation of the crankshaft to the drive shaft.
Wheel and airless tire assembly
An airless tire includes an inner wheel including flanges having fin fastening holes, an outer wheel receiving the inner wheel and including a tread part molded into the outer surface of a drum with at least one of through holes and irregularities to be united with the drum, with the inner periphery of the tread part embedded in the through holes or irregularities, a middle wheel including elastomers, a peripheral part having fin fastening holes and formed on the inner periphery of the elastomers, and ribs in the middle of the elastomers, a fixing device attaching the inside of the outer wheel to the outside of the middle wheel and then detachably uniting the middle wheel and the outer wheel, and coupling fins that allow the inner wheel and the middle wheel to be detachably held together by being inserted through the fin fastening holes and the fin fastening holes.
REUSABLE RIM FOR NON-PNEUMATIC TIRES
A rim assembly for a non-pneumatic tire has at least two rim components including: a first rim component having a first rim flange and a first lip, and a second rim component having a second rim flange and a second lip. The rim assembly further includes a plurality of lateral rim component support structures configured to extend through a plurality of openings of a tire support structure. The rim assembly also includes a first plurality of fasteners securing the plurality of lateral rim component support structures to the first rim flange, and a second plurality of fasteners securing the plurality of lateral rim component support structures to the second rim flange.

NON-PNEUMATIC TIRE AND TIRE ASSEMBLY
A non-pneumatic tire including an inner cylinder that surrounds an outer peripheral surface of a metal rim from an outside in a tire radial direction, an outer cylinder that surrounds the inner cylinder from the outside, and a plurality of elastically deformable connecting members that connects an outer peripheral surface of the inner cylinder to an inner peripheral surface of the outer cylinder. The inner cylinder is made of a synthetic resin material. A pair of holding flange portions is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the rim. The rim includes a first split body and a second split body. A size of the inner cylinder in a tire width direction is greater than a distance between inner surfaces, which face each other in the tire width direction, of the pair of holding flange portions. The inner cylinder is formed to be elastically deformable in the tire width direction.
