WHEEL LUG NUT TOOL
A hand operated tool for simultaneously threading a plurality of lug nuts onto corresponding studs of an axle includes a housing having a base onto which a plurality of lug gears, each carrying a lug socket, are rotatably mounted, and a circumferential side wall carrying an annular gear having teeth meshed with teeth of the lug gears. At least one lever arm extends radially away from an outer surface of the circumferential side wall to allow all required studs to be threaded onto a vehicle axle simultaneously.

A fastening assembly having torquing members that engage notches on a conical securing member. The torquing members being operable by a wrench and able to exert torque on the securing member at the notches to tighten or loosen the securing member.
Wheel support for use with motorcycle stand
A wheel support is provided for use with a motorcycle stand. The wheel support includes a pair of side plates, each of which has a first side end and a second side end distal thereto. At least one of the side plates has a curved end about the first side end to secure onto a portion of the motorcycle stand. The wheel support includes a top plate secured between the pair of side plates and an adjustable height mechanism configured to adjust the height of the second end of the side plates and thus adjust the height of the top plate about the second end. The top plate when moved under the wheel of the motorcycle is movable to engage and lift the wheel of the motorcycle into and out of engagement with the motorcycle.
Electrically actuated apparatus and method for tire replacement
A tire replacement apparatus is disclosed that has an electric motor with a drive shaft and a first gear concentrically connected to the drive shaft. The first gear may connect to a symmetrical bolt locking gear array having several bolt locking gears arranged such that each bolt locking gear rotates in the same direction that the first gear rotates. Each bolt locking gear may have a cylindrical hole at its center. The cylindrical hole may be outlined with an inner spiral thread, which connects to a set of power bolts that are outlined in an outer spiral thread which interlocks with the inner spiral thread.
Electrically actuated apparatus and method for tire replacement
A tire replacement apparatus is disclosed that has an electric motor with a drive shaft and a first gear concentrically connected to the drive shaft. The first gear may connect to a symmetrical bolt locking gear array having several bolt locking gears arranged such that each bolt locking gear rotates in the same direction that the first gear rotates. Each bolt locking gear may have a cylindrical hole at its center. The cylindrical hole may be outlined with an inner spiral thread, which connects to a set of power bolts that are outlined in an outer spiral thread which interlocks with the inner spiral thread.
Remotely operable clamp device
Clamp devices can be operated remotely to facilitate the installation, removal and other handling of wheels and tires for large vehicles. The clamp devices generally include an attachment mechanism, a gripping mechanism, an actuating link operable to move the gripping mechanism between an open and closed position, an actuator to activate the actuating link, a transmitter for sending command signals to the clamp devices for the purpose of opening or closing the gripping mechanism and a receiver for receiving such command signals.
Tire jack and trolley
In one embodiment, there is provided an apparatus for retaining and moving an automobile tire, and which includes a pair of tire engagement roller assemblies and a lever actuator assembly coupled to the roller assemblies. The roller assembly includes a movable base frame and a tire engaging roller rotatably coupled to the base frame, and the lever actuator assembly includes a lever arm, a link arm pivotally coupled to the lever arm along a length thereof, and a retention bar for selectively holding the lever and link arms in a fixed position relative to each other. Longitudinal end portions of the lever and link arms are rotatably coupled to associated said roller assemblies. Rotational movement of the lever arm towards a generally upright position effects inward movement of the roller assemblies towards each other to mount the tire disposed therebetween.
Device for simultaneously removing and tightening a plurality of lug nuts
The present invention provides an improved device for simultaneously replacing a plurality of lug nuts through the use of computer technology, modularity, energy-efficiency, safety features and ease of use. Computer technology monitors and controls the torque on each lug nut. This invention also displays the loosening or tightening status of each lug nut on a small LCD screen. The present invention achieves modularity through a series of interchangeable gear train assemblies, contained in separate unitary housings, which correspond to respective vehicular wheel depth and wheel lug patterns. Also, magnetic concentric sockets are used to capture and hold lug nuts as they are removed from the vehicle's wheel and to remove and replace theft protection devices such as rim or wheel locks. This invention provides ease of use with user-friendly controls and a light-weight unitary housing that eliminates the need of assistance from another person.

An apparatus (10) for fitting and/or removing wheel nuts. The apparatus (10) includes a base structure that supports a movable wheel engaging portion, the wheel engaging portion including a socket wrench (23) and a positioning device, wherein the positioning device can be used to locate the wheel engaging portion to aid the socket wrench (23) to fit or remove a wheel nut.
