At least a portion of one of the openings is threaded. Each of the dropouts includes a split-damp pinch bearing defining the opening and operable between an open position and a locked position, and a hand operable actuator pivoted to the bearing for operation thereof. The suspension further includes a one-piece axle. The axle is disposed through the openings. The axle has a threaded first end engaged with the threaded portion. The axle has an ergonomic grip formed at a second end. The bearing tightly engages an outer surface of the axle in the locked position, thereby rotationally coupling the axle to the dropout.

Front axle wheel assembly and the tire inflation system made therewith

An axle assembly having a spindle yoke defining at least one fluid conduit therethrough. A collector ring disposed about the spindle yoke. A seal housing coupled with a knuckle, and the seal housing disposed coaxially with the collector ring. First and second rotary seals disposed radially between the collector ring and the seal housing. Additionally, a port disposed in the knuckle, wherein the port is in fluid communication with the spindle yoke at least one fluid conduit via the seal housing and the collector ring.

Quick-release structure

A quick-release structure has: a shaft lever having a shaft lever external thread at one end thereof and a shaft lever internal thread at the other end thereof; a fixed seat sheathed on the shaft lever in a non-rotatable manner relative to each other. The fixed seat has an annular fixed seat engaging tooth on one end face thereof; a movable seat having an axially penetrating perforation, wherein the movable seat has an annular movable seat engaging tooth on one end face thereof, and the movable seat engaging tooth faces the fixed seat engaging tooth of the fixed seat; a spring abutting between the fixed seat and the movable seat; a spanner rod having a pivoting hole; and a connecting shaft, one end of which abuts on the spanner rod, and the other end of which has a connecting shaft external thread.

ARRANGEMENT OF A BEARING COMPONENT ON A CHASSIS COMPONENT, BEARING COMPONENT AND CHASSIS COMPONENT FOR SUCH AN ARRANGEMENT AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THEM
20200316992 · 2020-10-08 ·

With an arrangement of a bearing component on a chassis component, in particular on a wheel carrier, it is possible for a wheel of a vehicle to be mounted on the chassis component so as to be rotatable about an axis of rotation by the bearing component. The bearing component has at least one first form-fitting element disposed on the bearing component side and the chassis component has at least one first form-fitting element on the chassis component side. In order to prevent relative rotation along an orbital direction between the bearing component and the chassis component, the at least one first form-fitting element disposed on the bearing component side interacts positively with the at least one first form-fitting element disposed on the chassis component side in the assembled state along the orbital direction.

Modular combine traction axle

A modular axle assembly for supporting wheels of an agricultural vehicle, such as a combine harvester. The modular axle assembly includes a first tube, a second tube parallel to the first tube, and at least one bracket connecting the first tube and the second tube.

King-pin joint assembly

A king-pin joint assembly used in a vehicle. The king-pin joint assembly includes a king-pin, an axle beam and a steering knuckle. At least a portion of an intermediate portion of the king-pin is received and/or retained within at least a portion of an axle beam king-pin receiving aperture in a connector portion of the axle beam. The steering knuckle has a yoke portion with a first yoke arm and a second yoke arm. At least a portion of a first bearing assembly and a first end portion of the king-pin is received and/or retained within at least a portion of a first yoke arm king-pin aperture in the first yoke arm. Additionally, least a portion of a second bearing assembly and a second end portion of the king-pin is received and/or retained within at least a portion of a second yoke arm king-pin aperture in the second yoke arm.

AXLE HOUSING EXTENSION MEMBER AND METHOD FOR ADJUSTING TRACK WIDTH OF A TRUCK AXLE

Rear wheel fixing mechanism for a bicycle
10766301 · 2020-09-08 · ·

A rear wheel fixing mechanism for a bicycle is provided that includes an axle, a rear hub body, and a first clamp. The rear hub body is rotatably mounted around the axle about a rotational center axis. The first clamp is configured to exert a first clamping force in a perpendicular direction with respect to the rotational center axis onto a first clamping portion of the axle to mount the axle on a frame of the bicycle.

Self-steering axle knuckle

Self-steering axle assembly has an axle with central tube having a longitudinal central axis. A king pin is connected with an end portion of the axle. A knuckle is connected with the king pin. The knuckle includes a torque plate section. A first arm of the knuckle extends from a side of the torque plate section and receives a first end portion of the king pin. A second arm extends from the torque plate section in the same direction as the first arm. The second arm receives a second end portion of the king pin.
