Rolled food product and method of producing

Rolled food products are produced by cutting a dough sheet to form a roll sheet having a continuous pattern. The pattern is comprised of an asymmetrical repeat unit. The roll sheet is transported in a first direction with a conveyor system, and the roll sheet is rolled in a second direction to form a continuous roll. The second direction is not parallel to the first direction. The continuous roll is cut to form a plurality of rolls. Each of the plurality of rolls is asymmetrical.

Foodstuff sieve station

A foodstuff sieve station includes a hopper to pour floury foodstuff and an electrically-operated sifting assembly to sift it for separating impurities from still-usable foodstuff. The sifting assembly includes a hopper-shaped with bell-shaped, rotatable sieve housed/recessed inside the casing. The sieve has-an axis tilted with respect to the vertical and an upward mouth underneath an outlet of the hopper to receive foodstuff therefrom. An electric motor assembly rotates the sieve about the axis. The sieve prevents the foodstuff having a grain size higher that a threshold value to flow through, and has an inwardly protruding assembly that projects from the inner surface and extends on a helical-shaped path from the bottom of the sieve to the mouth of the sieve.

A thin, flat bread-making machine targeted at the Ethiopian bread called Injera, including apparatus, methods and processes. The machine includes cooking surface stations, batter depositing apparatus and cover moving robot. A moving batter depositing apparatus deposits a batter at a stationary griddles followed by placing covers for a specified time to complete the cooking. When cooking is completed an apparatus/robot will remove the covers and the system alerts the end of the process to the operator. Removing the Injera from the machine manually and repeating the whole process again will complete the Injera making process.

DOUGH PROCESSING SYSTEM WITH PRODUCT PROGRAM FORWARDING

A dough processing system includes a plurality of processing sections arranged one behind the other in a production direction, which are configured to execute different product programs. The dough processing system comprises a control device connected to the processing sections for activating the product programs at the processing sections, and wherein a program change from a first product program respectively set thereon to at least one new, second product program can be activated. By activating the program change at the processing section arranged in first place in the production direction, the control device is prompted to automatically carry out the program change in successive steps at that processing section of the processing sections following in the production direction at a time at which, within this processing section, the processing of a preceding product format last processed in accordance with the first product program is deemed to have been completed.

A ball-shaped food forming machine includes a casing, a pair of sheet-forming rollers, a sheet guide, a cutter roller, a cutter blade, a first ball-forming roller and a second ball-forming roller. The casing includes a receiving chamber. The sheet-forming rollers define a sheet-forming gap therebetween. The sheet guide has a cutting end. The cutter blade is disposed on the cutter roller and rotate along with the cutter roller. When the cutter blade rotated to a first position, a distal end of the cutter blade is right adjacent to the cutting end of the sheet guide. The first and second ball-forming rollers define a plurality of ball-forming gaps therebetween. The first ball-forming roller is closer to the cutter blade than the second ball-forming roller. Thereby, a food slug can be efficiently formed into ball-shaped food.
