OHMIC-HEATING PRINTHEAD FOR 3D PRINTER
A printhead for a 3D printer includes two large walls and two small walls that define between them a right-angled parallelepipedal cavity. Each small wall is produced from an electrically non-conductive material, and each large wall includes a central wall and two lateral walls on either side of the central wall. Each lateral wall is produced from electrically non-conductive material. The two central walls: face each other, are produced from an electrically conductive material, and are electrically connected to an electricity generator that generates an alternating current and an electrical potential difference between them.

System For Manufacturing An Edible Food Product Container
An automated system and method for manufacturing a cone-shaped food product holder requires the coordinated use of a forming unit, a conveyor unit and a control unit. In their combination, the forming unit rotates a conically-shaped bake form at a constant angular velocity . Simultaneously, the conveyor unit advances a bread dough strip on a conveyor belt at a constant linear velocity v, for deposit of the bread dough strip onto the bake form. In order to account for the conical configuration of the bake form, the actions of the forming unit and the conveyor unit are coordinated by the control unit. Specifically, the control unit moves the conveyor unit with a predetermined rotation relative to the forming unit to form the food product holder on the forming unit for subsequent baking.

Protective sheaths for medical devices
A process for making a sheath used to protect a medical device. The medical device includes a polymer scaffold crimped to a catheter having an expansion balloon. A sheath is placed over the crimped scaffold after crimping to reduce recoil of the crimped polymer scaffold and maintain scaffold-balloon engagement relied on to hold the scaffold to the balloon when the scaffold is being delivered to a target in a body. The sheath is removed by a health professional either by removing the sheath directly or using a tube containing the catheter.
Portable tortilla press assembly
A portable tortilla press assembly for molding a food product into a flat disk with a removable, reversible molding plate that is inserted between a base and a push plate. The tortilla press assembly operates via lever, with a roller along the body of the lever. The lever attaches via a hinge, opposite to and elevated above another hinge connecting to the push plate. When the lever is in the downward position, the roller pushes down on the plates with a rolling motion, smoothly forming a uniform, even tortilla. The molding plate has two sides defining two different forming surfaces, each sized to mold a different-sized tortilla.
Roller board assembly
Roller board assemblies and methods of manufacture and use. A roller board assembly may include a roller board having a first roller board insert which is removably coupled to a housing and a second roller board insert which is also removably coupled to a housing. The removability of the first and second roller board inserts may allow for variation in the desired roller board insert configuration such as shape and size of grooves in the roller board, thus allowing for variation in the shape and size of the item to be rolled. A first coupler may couple the first roller board to the housing through a hole in the housing. A handle on the housing may allow a user to grip the housing and apply the motion required to roll an item.

Sopes dish forming machine
Improvements a machine that turns gorditas into sopes. The machine uses an elliptical chain drive that transports the sopes. The gorditas travel horizontally where the gorditas are turned into sopes as they continue along the linear travel of the elliptical chain drive. The holder is a female pocket that accepts the gorditas and provides support at the sides of the sopes. A rotary press placed along the travel of the gorditas as they become sopes. The rotary press is synchronized to rotate and press into holders. The machine include leveling arms or pads that level the female pocket with the gorditas is loaded, pressed and ejected. The forming machine flips the sopes out of the female holder after the sopes has been formed with a central pocket.
Heated platen expansion compensator for a dough press
An expansion compensating coupler comprised of at least two expansion compensating assemblies for mounting a platen to a dough press. One end of a threaded rod is perpendicularly attached to the platen. A nut is turned onto the rod, a washer is placed on the rod, the rod is inserted through the bore of a sleeve residing in a hole in the dough press, a washer is placed on the rod, and a nut is turned onto the rod. The nuts are tightened to secure the platen to the dough press. The sleeve bore has the same diameter as the rod and the outer diameter of the sleeve is smaller than the hole so that there is a gap. Heating the platen causes it to expand and the threaded rod/sleeve to move into the gap. The minimum gap size is the maximum amount of expected expansion of the platen.
