Interconnects for Electrical Components Positioned Adjacent to Vehicle Tires
Electrical connector assemblies mountable on a tire of a wheel of a vehicle are described. An electrical connector assembly may include one or more electrical conductors, a respective electrical conductor extending from an inside surface of the tire to an outside surface of the tire. Tire assemblies including at least partially embedded electrical connector assemblies and wheel assemblies including such tire assemblies are also described.

TIRE
A tire includes: a pair of beads having a bead core and a bead filler which extends to an outer side in the tire-radial direction of the bead core; a carcass ply including a ply body which extends from one bead core to another bead core, and a ply folding part which is folded back around the bead core; a steel side ply serving as a metal reinforcement layer provided between the ply folding part and the bead filler; and an RFID tag serving as an electronic component provided between the bead filler and the ply body.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire to be combined with a rim is proposed. The tire may include a bead for preventing the pneumatic tire from coming off the rim. The tire may also include an apex configured to absorb an impact applied to the bead. The tire may further include a carcass extending to surround a portion of the apex and including a steel cord. The carcass may include a first carcass end portion disposed closer to one end of both ends of the apex in a radial direction of the pneumatic tire which is connected to the bead than the other end of the apex spaced apart from the bead.
Tire
A tyre has a tread portion. The tread portion includes a land region defined between a first edge extending in a tyre circumferential direction and a second edge extending in the tyre circumferential direction. The land region is provided with a first lateral groove extending from the first edge toward the second edge and terminating within the land region, a vertical groove connected with the first lateral groove, extending in the tyre circumferential direction, and having both end portions terminating within the land region, and a sipe connected with the vertical groove and extending therefrom toward the second edge.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire mountable on a 15° tapered specified rim includes a bead core, a carcass, a steel cord reinforcing layer, a bead rubber layer, and a first reinforcing rubber layer. A distance from a second line segment to a third line segment is from 4 mm to 8 mm; a side of an outer portion and a side of an inner portion of a bead base portion bend at an inflection point located in a range from 8 mm to 18 mm from the first intersection point; and an angle γ formed by an extension line drawn from the side of the outer portion inward in the tire radial direction and the side of the inner portion is from 4.5° to 14.5°.

TIRE
The bead portion of the tire has an inner bead provided inside the tire width direction of a carcass ply and an outer bead provided outside the tire width direction of the carcass ply. The inner bead and the outer bead have a bead core portion including a bead cord formed of a metal material, and a filler portion provided outside the tire radial direction of the bead core portion and formed of a resin material. The inner bead and the outer bead sandwich a carcass ply.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire according to the present technology is a pneumatic tire provided with a tread section, sidewall sections, and bead sections, a belt-shaped sound-absorbing member being bonded via an adhesive layer to an inner surface of the tire in a region corresponding to the tread section along the circumferential direction of the tire, wherein a bonding surface of the sound-absorbing member is provided with a bonded region that is bonded to the inner surface of the tire and an unbonded region that is not bonded to the inner surface of the tire, and the bonded region is divided by the unbonded region into a plurality of divisions along the circumferential direction of the tire.
