RUBBER COMPOSITION AND TIRE USING SAME
20200299427 · 2020-09-24 · ·

The present invention relates to a rubber composition which makes it possible to achieve both of a riding comfort during normal running and durability during run flat running in a run flat tire. The rubber composition is a rubber composition containing a rubber component, a filler, a vulcanizing agent, and a vulcanization accelerator, wherein the rubber component contains 50% by mass or more of a modified conjugated diene-based rubber; the filler contains a carbon black; and the vulcanization accelerator contains a thiuram-based vulcanization accelerator, the carbon black being contained in an amount of 40 to 60 parts by mass, and the thiuram-based vulcanization accelerator being contained in an amount of 2.6 to 5.5 parts by mass based on 100 parts by mass of the rubber component.

Vehicular cooling device

A vehicular cooling device includes an opening, a discharge port, an air channel, and a fan. The opening is formed in a surface parallel to a travelling direction of a vehicle. The discharge port is formed in a surface of the housing and connected to the opening via the air channel. The fan is provided inside the air channel. First blockers are spaced apart in the travelling direction in the opening. Each first blocker extends in a direction perpendicular to both the travelling direction and an inflow direction of the outside air, and includes first and second members. The first member is a plate-like member having a main surface intersecting the travelling direction. The first member and the second member are symmetric with respect to a plane perpendicular to the travelling direction, and have a travelling-direction spacing therebetween that increases along the inflow direction of the outside air.

In a tire 2, each load support layer 22 extends from a side portion 24 of the tire 2 to a radially inner side of a belt 14 at an inner side of a carcass 12. A ratio (SP/WB) of a width SP from an equator plane to an outer edge 48 of the load support layer 22, relative to a width WB from the equator plane to an edge of the belt 14, in an axial direction is equal to or greater than 0.1 and equal to or less than 0.6.

A pneumatic tire includes a projection formed on a surface of a tire tread portion. A thickness of the projection, which is a distance from the surface of the tread portion to a top surface of the projection, is smaller than a width of the projection, which is a size of the top surface in a tire circumferential direction. The width of the projection is equal to or more than 10 mm.

Run-flat tire

A run-flat tire comprises a tread portion, sidewall portions, bead portions, and a carcass ply extending between the bead portions. The sidewall portions are each provided therein with a sidewall reinforcing rubber layer having a crescent-shaped cross sectional shape and disposed on the axially inside of the carcass ply. The sidewall portions are each provided in the axially outer surface thereof with a rim protector which projects radially outward most on the radially outside of the radially inner edge of the sidewall reinforcing rubber layer. The bead portions are each provided therein with an axially inside core and an axially outside core between which each radially inner edge portion of the carcass ply is secured. When measured along a normal line drawn normally to the carcass ply from an apex of the rim protector, the thickness of the sidewall reinforcing rubber layer is in a range of from 29% to 35% of the thickness of the tire.
