TIRE STATE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND TIRE STATE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
A tire state management system (10) is provided with an image data acquisition unit (210) for acquiring 1st image data acquired by imaging the outer surface at a first timing and second image data acquired by imaging the outer surface at a second timing later than the first timing, a damage portion acquisition unit (220) for acquiring a damage included in the 1st image data and a damage included in the 2nd image data, a vehicle operation information acquisition unit (230) for acquiring operation information of a vehicle on which a tire is mounted, and a maintenance prediction unit (240) for estimating a progress speed based on the damage included in the 1st image data and the progress speed included in the 2nd image data and predicting a maintenance timing for the tire based on the progress speed and the operation information.
METHODS AND APPARATUS TO DETERMINE TIRE TREAD DEPTH
Methods, Apparatus, and Articles of Manufacture are disclosed for determining a tread depth status of a tire of a vehicle, including an accelerometer interface to access acceleration data from an accelerometer associated with the tire, the acceleration data including first acceleration data indicative of acceleration in a first direction, second acceleration data indicative of acceleration in a second direction, and third acceleration data indicative of acceleration in a third direction, and a data segmenter to segment the first acceleration data into a first data segment, the second acceleration data into a second data segment, and the third acceleration data into a third data segment based on at least one of an acceleration cycle or a common time interval.
Tire Defect Detection System that Images Localized Cooling at a Defect
A tire defect detection system for detecting defects in a tire. The system includes at least one infrared camera, a pneumatic source and a computing device. The pneumatic source inflates the tire to a predetermined pressure. After inflation, the infrared camera captures a reference frame of a section of the tire. A period of time after capturing the reference frame, the infrared camera captures a subsequent frame. The subsequent frame is compared to the reference frame to detect a portion of the section of the tire that has a lower temperature. The lower temperature is caused by an escape of air from the tire through a defect. The escaping air cools the area of the tire around the defect, so a decrease in temperature indicates the defect.
BICYCLE TIRE REPAIR DEVICE
A bicycle tire repair device has a main body which has a first end forming a working end useful for repairing and fluidly connecting with a tire to be repaired and a second end forming an air inlet end useful for connecting with an object that outputs air. The main body defines a channel between the first and the second ends for allowing the air from the object to flow to the second end. The first end includes a tire repair needle connected therewith.
TIRE SERVICE TRACKING AND NOTIFICATION
A method and computer program product are disclosed. The method includes tracking a distance travelled on a set of tires, determining a threshold, determining whether the distance travelled has exceeded the threshold, and notifying the user that the distance travelled has exceeded the threshold. The computer program product includes code to perform tracking a distance travelled on a set of tires, determining a threshold, determining whether the distance travelled has exceeded the threshold, and notifying the user that the distance travelled has exceeded the threshold.
Method for installing a monitoring device in a tyre for vehicle wheels
A positioning device for keeping a monitoring device for tyres of vehicle wheels in an installation condition, includes: two separate active portions, each having a main surface the shape of which matches that of a respective portion of an outer surface of a monitoring device, said separate active portions being adapted to cooperate with at least base portions of said monitoring device so that, when said positioning device is associated with said monitoring device, the base portions of said monitoring device are maintained at a given mutual distance by said active portions.

Bicycle rim for tubeless tire
Bicycle rims that allow tires to be more easily mounted in a tubeless configuration are disclosed. More specifically, a bicycle rim may control the two beads of the tire with separate bead channels for each bead and a center bridge extending between the two bead channels.
Hydraulic tire curing press apparatus and a method for adjusting mold height in a hydraulic tire curing press
A curing press for tires includes an upper cavity having a vertically separable upper housing and a top mold. A lower cavity is mounted on a base and forms an arrangement to provide mold height adjustment during curing. The base includes a bottom bolster structure and a bottom mold. An indexing lock ring is rotatably arranged with the bottom bolster structure for closing or opening of the top and bottom molds. The bolster structure includes squeeze cylinders having piston rods to provide mold height adjustment. A squeeze retract stop assembly is provided to restrict vertically downward movement of the bottom mold during a tire curing process. The press includes at least one locking lever and at least one indexing lock pin adapted to connect the at least one locking lever to lock holes in the bottom bolster structure wherein each lock hole corresponds to a particular mold height.
Pneumatic tire pre-conditioning system and method
A pneumatic tire pre-conditioning system includes a conveyor system, a belt assembly, a friction device and a drive system. The conveyor system includes a tire engaging surface, a first side, and a second side. The belt assembly is adjacent to the first side of the tire engaging surface. The friction device is adjacent to the second side of the tire engaging surface. The drive system is configured to move a tire along the tire engaging surface in a path between the belt assembly and the friction device.
