Piping Bag Dispenser Assembly
A piping bag dispenser assembly includes a disk that has a receiver slot extending through the disk thereby facilitating a piping bag to be inserted through the receiver slot. A dispensing unit is rotatably integrated into the disk and the dispensing unit is aligned with the receiver slot. In this way the dispensing unit can frictionally engage the piping bag when the piping bag is inserted through the receiver slot. The dispensing unit urges the piping bag through the receiver slot when the dispensing unit is turned on. In this way the dispensing unit can urge icing outwardly through the piping bag for decorating a cake.
DOUBLE COUPLER NOZZLE FOR PIPING BAGS AND STANDS THEREFOR
A double coupler nozzle system for sealing to a pair of flexible film bags (or to a double bag, i.e. three (3) triangles of film welded down the diagonals or a single piping bag which has been welded down the length) having a wider upper end and a conical lower end with an opening for flowable material inside the bag and for expressing the flowable material. The system comprises a pair of hollow nozzle bases each having an exterior wall and an interior wall and being coupled together along the interior walls.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR REDUCING ACRYLAMIDE CONCENTRATION IN HEAT-PROCESSED PRODUCTS
Methods and systems for reducing acrylamide concentration in heat-processed products, and products produced by such methods and systems are provided. The baked products may be sprayed with a riboflavin solution and then irradiated with a UV light source to initiate monomer reactions of acrylamide and reduce the concentration of the acrylamide in the baked product. In addition, riboflavin may be dissolved in heat-processed products, followed by irradiation of the riboflavin-containing heat-processed products with a UV light source to initiate monomer reactions of acrylamide and reduce the concentration of the acrylamide in the baked product.
Partially Transparent Disposable Piping Bag
The present invention relates to a piping bag. More in particular, particular, the present invention relates to a piping bag for applying a foodstuff to a substrate, wherein the piping bag is of the disposable type. The present invention further relates to a co-extruded tubular foil from which such a piping bag can be obtained and to a method for providing artwork and/or text on such a piping bag. According to the invention, the outer layer and the inner layer of the tubular foil are transparent and the intermediate layer of the tubular foil is partially transparent through a distribution of pigment additives in the intermediate layer that is non-uniform in at least a direction perpendicular to the axial direction.
DOUGHNUT HOLDER
The doughnut holder is a single molded plastic device that has an elongated cup shape at the top and a shaft shaped base that extending down from the cup. The walls of the cup shape have open sides on the elongated ends and a small flap in what is the front of the cup and a larger flap in the back of the cup, that provides an open top of the cup shape, in which a single doughnut can be partially inserted, for holding the doughnut in an upright position. The design and shape of the doughnut holder allows the front surface of the doughnut to be viewed in an upright position. The doughnut holder can be used by itself or with multiple doughnut holders to make a display or arrangement for sale or marketing purposes.

Funnel for filling taco shells or tortillas
A funneling apparatus is provided that can be used in filling a food item, such as a taco shell. The funneling apparatus includes two opposing elongated walls connected on their ends by two opposing end walls. An opening is formed inside the funneling apparatus between the elongated walls and the end walls, which includes a top portion configured to receive contents and a bottom portion configured to dispense the contents. A concave section is provided along the base of each of the first elongated wall the second elongated wall. During use of the funneling apparatus with an item such as a taco shell, the concave section exposes the interior of the side walls formed by the taco shell. The end walls of the funneling apparatus prevent the contents inserted into the opening from spilling out of the taco shell.
Icing Machine and Icing Method
A system for the automated coating of baked good with a water based icing is provided. In particular, a system for the automated movement of icing and controls of variables such as temperature, moisture, and/or flow rate of the icing is provided to maintain the characteristics of the icing for extended periods of operation of an associated coating system.
Food Folding Platform And Components Therefor
A folding platform includes a base, first folding flap, lift arm, and lift arm linkage. The first folding flap is rotatably connected with the base and facilitates the folding of a food item placed on the folding platform. The lift arm linkage is rotatably connected with the base and the lift arm to operatively lift the lift arm and allow the lift arm to rotate in a first rotational direction, and includes a spring that engages the lift arm linkage and the lift arm, and biases the lift arm in a second rotational direction opposite the first rotational direction. The lift arm is capable of rotating a first rotational distance, and rotating a second rotational distance greater than the first rotational distance without bending or breaking when the lift arm contacts an obstruction. The lift arm automatically returns to its normal position due to the bias force of the spring.
CAKE STACKING SYSTEM
A cake stacking system for supporting a multi-tiered cake includes a center rod that extends from a bottom of a base tier of the multi-tiered cake to an interior portion of an uppermost tier of the multi-tiered cake, and a plurality of peripheral rods arranged around the center rod, the plurality of peripheral rods disposed in each tier of the multi-tiered cake except for the uppermost tier of the multi-tiered cake. The center rod includes at least one first rod having a first height and one second rod having a second height. The first height is greater than the second height. Each peripheral rod includes a tubular member and a flange coupled to one end of the tubular member. The flange maintains a vertical position of the tubular member and supports a bottom surface of an above tier of the multi-tiered cake.
