A DEVICE FOR EJECTING ITEMS FROM A CAKE
20220126219 · 2022-04-28 · ·

The present invention relates to a device for ejecting items from a cake and a method of assembling the device. The device comprises a tube for receiving the items, a moveable member disposed within the tube, a spring configured to urge the moveable member away from a first position to a second position, and a catch mechanism configured to lock the moveable member in the first position against the force of the spring. Releasing the catch mechanism causes the moveable member to move from the first position to the second position, thereby propelling the items from the tube. The invention further relates to a platform comprising a device for ejecting items from a cake, wherein the platform includes a surface for supporting the cake and a method for preparing a cake on such a platform. The present invention also relates to a device that is positioned in a cake or other confection, a cake comprising said cake device, and a method for preparing a cake having such a device.

The present invention relates to a novel rotating cake pan device designed to allow a user to place a cake or other dessert on the rotating platform, and then rotating the dessert during decorating. The device comprises a bottom base component positioned on a rotating turntable component. A detachable drainage reservoir drip-pan and a detachable cooling rack are all placed on top of the bottom base component. The bottom base component comprises four rubber plugs and a non-skid bottom which secures the bottom base component to the rotating turntable component during use. Thus, during decoration, any glaze or icing will drip off the cake and into the drip-pan, where it can be drizzled back onto the item or poured back into a storage container.

System and method for dispensing toppings

A system for dispensing toppings onto a topping vehicle may include a hopper platform, hoppers, a retaining plate, a blade, and a hopper-advancing pin. The hoppers each include a hopper bracket slidably engaging the hopper platform. The blade is mounted on the retaining plate and may reciprocate relative to the retaining plate. The hopper-advancing pin is movable relative to the hoppers between deployed and stowed positions. The hopper-advancing pin may engage one of the hopper brackets in the deployed position such that movement of the retaining plate between retracted and extended positions causes movement of the hopper bracket and a respective hopper along a length of the hopper platform. The hopper-advancing pin may be disengaged from the hopper brackets in the deployed stowed position to allow movement of the retaining plate between the retracted and extended positions without causing movement of the hopper brackets.

Bun holding and thawing

Systems and methods of bun handling include a cassette with opposed side walls. The cassette includes a front wall, an open rear face opposite the front wall, and a floor between the opposed side walls. A cover extends between the opposed side walls above the floor. The cover is movable relative to the opposed side walls and the floor. A slot is defined through the floor from the open rear face in a direction towards the front wall.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DISPENSING A SUBSTANCE INTO ONE OF MULTIPLE PATTERNS
20230320373 · 2023-10-12 ·

A system and method is provided for dispensing a substance into one of multiple patterns. The system includes a container to hold a substance and a pump in flow communication with the substance. The pump directs the substance from the container to a housing. The housing includes a first removable component with first openings that define a first pattern. The first removable component is in flow communication with the pump. The first removable component is replaceable with a second removable component defining second openings that define a second pattern different from the first pattern. The pump directs the substance through the first openings such that the substance forms a first pattern on a surface positioned proximate to the housing that is based on the first pattern of the first removable component.
