The sunshade includes a freely positionable sunshade element for the partial blocking of sunlight, which by sliding in a translucent opening in the roof can be positioned in such a manner that dazzling a person in the vehicle by sunlight irradiating through the opening can be prevented.
Soft tonneau cover with supporting cross bar
In accordance with embodiments of the present disclosure, a tonneau cover for covering a pickup truck's cargo bed may include a frame structure for attaching to walls of the cargo bed. The tonneau cover may include a soft cover for covering the cargo bed, wherein the soft cover has edges that can be attached to the frame structure, and a cross bar attached to an inner side of the soft cover. When the soft cover is in a closed position, two ends of the cross bar are supported by the frame structure, and at least a portion of the soft cover is supported by the cross bar.
ROLLER SUNSHADE DEVICE
A roller sunshade device suppressing the drooping of both end portions in a width direction of a shad. The roller sunshade device includes an extendable and retractable shade, and a tension providing unit providing greater tension to both end portions in the width direction of the shade than to a center portion thereof. The roller sunshade device also includes a handle member including a support portion supporting a distal end portion of the shade, wherein at least one of the support portion of the handle member and the distal end portion of the shade is curved prior to assembly thereof, and when the distal end portion of the shade is assembled to the support portion of the handle member, greater tension is provided to the both end portions in the width direction of the shade than to the center portion thereof.
Moodroof for augmented media experience in a vehicle cabin
In various embodiments, a moodroof media application provides media content into a vehicle cabin. In operation, the moodroof media application determines at least one state associated with the vehicle cabin based on sensor data from at least one sensor. The moodroof media application then receives media content associated with the at least one state. The moodroof media application further causes visual content associated with the media content to be displayed on at least one display surface positioned on a ceiling of the vehicle cabin.
Subframe for a motor vehicle
The invention relates to a subframe (1) for a motor vehicle, comprising at least three beams, of which, in the assembled state of the subframe, at least two beams (3, 4) extend at a distance from one another, substantially along the longitudinal axis of the motor vehicle and at least one beam (6, 7) extends transversely to the longitudinal axis of the motor vehicle, at least one of the beams being an extruded beam (3, 4), and at least one cast node (11) of aluminium, magnesium or an alloy based on aluminium and/or magnesium, the cast node (11) connecting the extruded beam (4) and at least one of the other beams (6) to another, wherein the cast node (11) has an arm-shaped beam connecting element (11.4), wherein the extruded beam (4) overlaps the beam connecting element (11.4), and wherein the extruded beam (4) is connected to the beam connecting element (11.4) by a weld seam (14). In order to improve such a subframe with regard to high strength and durability and low weight of the subframe, the invention provides that the cast node (11) has on the beam connecting element (11.4) a shoulder which defines a shoulder end face (16), wherein the shoulder end face (16) on the one hand and the extruded support (4) and/or the weld seam (14) on the extruded beam (4) on the other hand define a groove-shaped or trench-shaped recess (17), whose width or average width (W) is at least 2.5 times, preferably at least 3.5 times, particularly preferably at least 4 times, the wall thickness (te) of the extruded beam (4), and wherein the weld seam (14) is designed as a lap seam.
Pickup truck bed cover
A truck bed assembly that is fuel efficient, aesthetically pleasing and unique.
Structural member
A structural member is provided that includes a steel sheet with a tensile strength of 980 MPa or higher overlying another metal plate and joined thereto by welding, where a break initiating near a welded portion is less likely to be produced. A structural member (10, 10a, 10b, 10c) includes: a first member (1), the first member being a steel sheet with a tensile strength of 980 MPa or higher; a second member (2) overlying the first plate (1), the second member being a metal plate; a plurality of welded portions (3, 31, 32); a plurality of heat-affected zones (5, 51, 52) each formed to surround the corresponding one of the welded portions (3, 31, 32), the heat-affected zones having a Vickers hardness lower than that of the first member by 50 HV or more. A pair of edge sections (4) of the first member (1) are provided between adjacent heat-affected zones (5, 51, 52). The pair of edge sections (4) of the first member located between the adjacent heat-affected zones (5, 51, 52) extend to cross a line (LC1) linking the adjacent welded portions (3, 31, 32).
VEHICLE-BODY STRUCTURE OF AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLE WITH STORING-TYPE ROOF
There are provided a pillar attached to a vehicle-body side separately from a roof, a pillar-side weather strip provided at the pillar, a vehicle-body-side weather strip provided at a vehicle-body side of a lower portion of the pillar, and an engagement portion provided at a lower end portion of the pillar-side weather strip, the engagement portion being configured to engage from an inward side, in a vehicle width direction, of the vehicle-body-side weather strip. The vehicle-body-side weather strip comprises a guide portion which guides the engagement portion of the pillar-side weather strip inward and downward, an engaged portion positioned at a lower portion of the guide portion, and a wall portion which contacts a hanging piece provided at the lower end portion of the pillar-side weather strip from an outward side in the vehicle width direction.
End structure of a motor vehicle body
An end structure of a motor vehicle body has two longitudinal struts which extend along respective axes have respective ends, on which respective attachment plates are fitted; the attachment plates have respective walls, which are ring-shaped about longitudinal axes and defined frontally by respective faces having substantially vertical and flat resting zones; two supporting plates rest respectively on these resting zones and are fixed to the walls and to two buffering elements, which are substantially coaxial to the struts; the two attachment plates further have respective tabs, which are radiused to said walls at an inner annular perimeter thereof and end with respective edges, which are longitudinally aligned with the supporting plates.
