An interior structure includes a pillar garnish, a channel member, and a screen member. The pillar garnish is integral with a center pillar, and is formed with an opening facing a vehicle cabin and formed with a hollow housing section on the opposite side to the vehicle cabin. The channel member is provided so as to be capable of being housed in the housing section and capable of moving toward the vehicle cabin through the opening. The screen member is provided at the channel member so as to be housed in the housing section when in a non-deployed state and so as to be deployed in the vehicle cabin in a state in which the channel member has been moved into the vehicle cabin.

A top for a convertible vehicle having a foldable top cover and a top linkage for deploying the top cover, the top linkage being displaceable between a closed position and a storage position, the top linkage having a link assembly on either side of the top, each link assembly being pivotably mounted on a vehicle-attached main bearing and having a tension rod assembly hinged to a tension bow which extends between the bilaterally disposed link assemblies and limits the top cover at its rear edge in the closed position, and the top having a headliner assembly having a foldable headliner fabric and forming an inner visible surface of the top in the closed position. The headliner assembly may have a guide link on either side of the top, each guide link being hinged to the respective tension rod assembly, and the headliner fabric being in contact with each guide link.

The apparatus includes a duct that is formed with a suction port, a discharge port, and an air flow path from the section port to the discharge port and that is mounted to the inner surface of a bumper of the vehicle. A flap having a plate shape is operated by being supported and guided by the duct and is configured to open and close the discharge port.

A lower body structure includes a floor panel forming a floor surface of a vehicle interior, a floor cross member extending in a vehicle width direction above the floor panel, a console support bracket supporting a console at the center of the floor panel and mounted to the floor cross member, and a shift lever support bracket having an upper part supporting the shift lever and a lower part fixed to the console support bracket in front and rear portions. A mount point at which the shift lever is mounted to the shift lever support bracket is offset forward with respect to front and rear side fixing parts in which the shift lever support bracket is fixed to the console support bracket in the front and rear portions, and the front side fixing part of the console support bracket has a rigidity higher than the rear side fixing part.

A lower vehicle-body structure of a vehicle includes a first cross member disposed on an intermediate portion of a front floor panel in a vehicle front-rear direction as a bridge in a vehicle width direction; a second cross member disposed in a kick-up portion between the front floor panel and a rear floor panel as a bridge in the vehicle width direction at a position in which at least a center portion in the vehicle width direction is higher than the first cross member; and a battery unit disposed below at least the front floor panel to a rear end position of the front floor panel. A high-strength portion for the front floor panel is formed on a rear end of the front floor panel on a lower end portion of the kick-up portion, and is coupled to both of a pair of left and right side sills.

A lower vehicle-body structure of an electric vehicle includes a bending facilitating portion located outward of a bent portion of a kick-up and bends as a breakage starter in a lateral collision, earlier than the bent portion, to reduce the amount of projection from the bending facilitating portion toward an outer side and reduce the likelihood of interference with a battery. Each of left and right side portions in a vehicle width direction of a kick-up is bent downward from a position inward of a rear side frame toward a side sill and connected to the side sill. A bending facilitating portion that facilitates bending under a lateral-collision load is formed outward of a bent portion of the kick-up and an outer side portion of the battery, and either inward of an inner end of the rear side frame or at substantially the same position as the inner end.

A guide is presented intended for use in a sunshade assembly of the type comprising a flexible sunscreen having opposed longitudinal edges and two opposed longitudinal guides each comprising at least two spaced guide legs for defining there between a guide channel for receiving therein and guiding corresponding ones of the opposed longitudinal edges of the sunscreen. The guides and longitudinal edges are provided with cooperating guide locking members and edge locking members for preventing the longitudinal edges of the sunscreen from moving out of the guide channels. The guide locking members are defined on separate parts engaging the guides.

An optical device includes a first outer substrate; a second outer substrate disposed opposite to the first outer substrate; and an active liquid crystal film or a polarizer, wherein the active liquid crystal film or the polarizer is encapsulated by an encapsulating agent between the first and second outer substrates and wherein a shrinkable film adjacent to any one of the first and second outer substrates is further included. The optical device is capable of varying transmittance. The optical device can be used for various applications such as an eyewear, for example, sunglasses or AR (augmented reality) or VR (virtual reality) eyewears, an outer wall of a building or a sunroof for a vehicle.

A vehicle body lower structure may comprise: a rocker arranged at a lower lateral part of a vehicle body and extending along a front-rear direction of the vehicle body, the rocker being hollow; a power supply package arranged under a floor panel of the vehicle body; and an energy absorbing member fixed to the power supply package and fixed to a bottom plate of the rocker. A side surface of the energy absorbing member located under the rocker may be inclined to face diagonally upward, and a drain hole may be arranged in the bottom plate at a position above the side surface.
