The panel member includes a flange portion having a planar shape on its outer peripheral edge and to which the vehicle-body framework members are joined along the panel outer peripheral edge; a curved surface portion that is curved such that a place closer to a panel central side bulges out more to a lower side in a continuous manner from a panel-central-side edge portion of the flange portion; and a flat surface portion that extends to the panel central side from the panel-central-side edge portion of the curved surface portion in a continuous manner.

Vehicle body lower structure

A vehicle body lower structure may include: a hollow rocker arranged at a lower lateral part of a vehicle body and extending along a front-rear direction of the vehicle body; a power source arranged adjacent to the rocker; an energy absorbing member connected to the power source and arranged under the rocker; and a collar arranged between the rocker and the energy absorbing member. The rocker may be provided with a flange extending downward from a bottom plate of the rocker. A height of the collar above the energy absorbing member may be greater than a height of the flange.

The present invention is a retractable sunshade assembly that can be connected to an open-top of a vehicle that has roll bars. The sunshade assembly includes one or more clamps, a pair of parallel support beams, and a sunshade panel. The one or more clamps fasten to roll bars on a driver side and on a passenger side, The pair of parallel support beams connect onto the clamps, such that the supports panels are horizontally aligned to the respective roll bars and parallel to each other. The sunshade panel is configured to connect to and span between the pair of support beams which serve as a guide for the sunshade panel to retract and extend within. A latch mechanism connected to a handle can be actuated to hold the sunshade panel in a desired location along the pair of support beams, enabling customized levels of sun shading.

Vehicle front body structure

A vehicle front body structure is provided for reliably transferring a collision load to a crash can and a front frame by preventing a bumper beam from buckling during a small overlap collision. Bending rigidity of the bumper beam in a vehicle width direction is such that 1) a bending moment generated on the bumper beam when a collision load in a direction toward a vehicle rear side is applied to an extending section, which extends outward in the vehicle width direction from a crash can fixed section, is the highest in a vehicle width direction inner end portion of the crash can fixed section on a side where the collision load is applied, and 2) the bending moment is continuously reduced as a distance from the vehicle width direction inner end portion in the vehicle width direction increases.
