SIDE RAIL
A side rail for a cargo bed of a vehicle enables improved and smoother control and operation of an associated drive chain and slat assembly. The side rail comprises: an elongate body that defines a longitudinal axis; an axially extending drive channel disposed at a medial side of the body and defining an opening therein for receiving a drive chain, the drive channel having a recessed inner portion and a stepped outer portion adjacent the opening; a first receiving channel disposed within an upper wall of the outer portion of the drive channel and extending axially therealong; a first sealing member disposed within the first receiving channel; a second receiving channel disposed opposite the first receiving channel within a lower wall of the outer portion of the drive channel and extending axially therealong; and a guide element disposed within the second receiving channel and projecting upwardly therefrom, the guide element having an upper contact surface for slidably contacting a surface of the drive chain.
GARNISH INSTALLING APPARATUS AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING THE SAME
A garnish installing apparatus can include a housing, a static guide roller, and adjustable guide roller and a pressure assembly. The housing can include a housing body and an extension mechanism that is movable relative to the housing body. The extension mechanism can include a pneumatic cylinder. The static guide roller can be attached to the housing. The adjustable guide roller can be attached to the extension mechanism. The adjustable guide roller can be configured to provide a clamping force, with the static guide roller, on a door of a vehicle. The pressure assembly can be configured to apply pressure and detect application of pressure to a garnish of the door. The pressure assembly can include a pneumatic sensor.
Seal assembly for automotive door module
A door assembly may include a sub-assembly having a sub-assembly panel, one or more rails, an edge strip, and a sealing gasket. The rails may extend from the sub-assembly panel and may overhang an edge of the panel to be sealed. The edge strip may be configured to seal the panel extending across a region of the edge where the rail overhangs the edge. The sealing gasket may be a foam-in-place gasket. The sealing gasket may be applied to the sub-assembly panel around the perimeter of the sub-assembly panel and may interact with the edge strip at the region where the at least one rail overhangs the edge to form a contiguous seal around the sub-assembly panel.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING DOOR OUTSIDE BELT OF VEHICLE
A method for manufacturing a hybrid-type door outside belt of a vehicle utilizes different materials for a skin layer of a skin body that is mounted to an upper end of a door panel and a main wing that is moved by contacting the door glass, the skin layer of the skin body being made of a material having excellent scratch-resistance, and the main wing being made of a material having an excellent compression set (permanent deformation).
Signaling assembly for a door leaf, door and corresponding transport vehicle
A signaling assembly for a door leaf of an access door to a transport vehicle, including a seal that has an attaching region intended to be received at least partially in the housing of a profile of the door leaf, as well as a lighting region, and means of lighting, able to illuminate the lighting region of the seal, in such a way as to emit at least one visual signal, in particular representative of the opened and/or closed state of the door. The assembly includes a locking key received at least partially in an interior volume of the seal, with the key being able to prevent a pulling off of the seal outside the profile along a transversal direction, in reference to the main direction of the seal, the means of lighting being fixed on the locking key.

BELT ASSEMBLY FOR VEHICLE HAVING HOOK AND SWING ATTACHMENT AND ASSOCIATED METHOD
A belt assembly for an associated vehicle has a body that includes a substantially planar region dimensioned for abutting engagement with the vehicle. At least one seal lip extends outwardly from a first face of the body to engage an associated surface of a vehicle window. A first hook is provided on the body for receipt over a terminal tip of the vehicle structural assembly, and a second hook is dimensioned for at least partial receipt through an associated opening around the door window opening. The first hook is positioned over the terminal tip and then the second hook is rotated until the second hook elastically deforms outwardly and subsequently snap fits into an associated opening and the substantially planar region abuts along the associated structural assembly of the door to preclude movement of the belt assembly upwardly, cross-car, and fore-and-aft relative to the associated vehicle.
Vehicle body assembly
A vehicle body assembly includes a frame having a forward frame part defining a passenger cabin and a rear frame part defining a load carrying bed. A separate rear fender is removably fastened to the rear frame part, wherein a gap is provided between the forward frame part and the rear fender. A separate rear fender fairing is mounted to an inside surface of the rear fender. The rear fender fairing includes a seal located in the gap and sealingly engaging both the forward frame part and the rear fender.

Overhead door rotating seal
Embodiments of the invention provide a door sealing system for an overhead door assembly of a vehicle comprises a rotating seal apparatus. The overhead door assembly includes a door frame and a door panel. The rotating seal apparatus comprises a rod, a first seal, and a second seal. When the door panel is in a closed position, the rod is actuatable, so that, when actuated, the rod is rotated, compressing the seal against the door panel and compressing the second seal against the door frame.
