An exemplary coolant distribution module includes a module body including a plurality of inlet ports and a plurality of outlet ports, a first manifold valve encompassed within the module body, and a second manifold valve encompassed within the module body. The first manifold valve includes a plurality of first valve inputs wherein each first valve input is in communication with at least one inlet port of the plurality of inlet ports, and a plurality of first valve outputs wherein each first valve output is in communication with at least one outlet port of the plurality of outlet ports. The second manifold valve includes a plurality of second valve inputs wherein each second valve input is in communication with at least one inlet port of the plurality of inlet ports, and a plurality of second valve outputs wherein each second valve output is in communication with at least one outlet port of the plurality of outlet ports.

The apparatus further includes a path prediction and vehicle detection controller configured to determine first parameters for predicting a path of the vehicle; determine second parameters for predicting the path of the vehicle; predict the path of the vehicle using a combination of the first parameters and the second parameters, where the combination is weighted based on a speed of the vehicle; identify one of the one or more target vehicles as a closest in path vehicle based on the predicted path of the vehicle; and activate at least one of a braking control and a steering control based on a proximity of the identified closest in path vehicle.

The first rotor of the axial-flux rotating electric machine is coupled to the pump of the torque converter, and the turbine of the torque converter is rotatably coupled to the output member.

The drive unit housing further includes an inlet port to receive a fluid and a shared wall separating the first compartment and the second compartment. The shared wall defines fluid pathways in fluid communication with the inlet port to circulate the fluid to cool the electrical inverter. The drive unit also includes an outlet port in fluid communication with the fluid pathways to discharge the fluid.

The valve element is rotatably disposed inside the housing around an axis, and has at least two regions on an outer side thereof. The regions are arranged in a direction of rotation of the valve element, and each extends in an axial direction of the valve element and has a plurality of connecting passages. The sealing element extends by a distance around the valve element, keeps in contact with an outer surface of the valve element, and is provided with a plurality of openings which communicate with the outside. One of the regions is capable of being covered by the sealing element by rotating the valve element to form an operating region, each of the connecting passages in the operating region being capable of connecting at least two of the openings.
