An electric drive assembly for a motor vehicle comprises a high-speed electric machine with a nominal rotational speed of at least 20,000 revolutions per minute and with a high-speed rotor that can be used as a flywheel mass for storing kinetic energy; a superimposed transmission having a drive element, a regulating element and a driven element, wherein the drive element is drivable by an electric machine around a drive axis, wherein the regulating element is rotatable around a regulating axis and wherein the driven element is drivingly connected to the regulating element and the drive element; an electromagnetic regulating device having a stator and a rotor that is connected to the regulating element in a rotationally fixed way, wherein by means of magnetic forces acting in the circumferential direction between the stator and the rotor, a regulating moment can be transmitted to the rotor, wherein the magnetic forces are variably adjustable.
GEAR SYSTEM FOR AN ELECTRIC MOTOR OF A VEHICLE, AND VEHICLE INCLUDING THE GEAR SYSTEM
A gearing arrangement that offers a new way to operate an electric motor at a favorable operating point is provided. To this end there is proposed a gearing arrangement (1) for an electric motor (6) of a vehicle (2), including an input interface (5) for coupling to the electric motor (6) and including an output interface (7), such that a drive torque path runs between the input interface (5) and the output interface (7); including a first transmission gearing stage (10) with a first transmission ratio (i1), such that the drive torque path in a first operating state of the gear arrangement (1) runs via the first transmission gearing stage (10); and including a second transmission gearing stage (11), such that the drive torque path in a second operating state of the gear arrangement (1) runs via the second transmission gearing stage (11), the second transmission gearing stage (11) having a continuously variable transmission ratio (i1 . . . i2).
Generator module
A generator module includes a housing arranged for mounting to a rear face of an internal combustion engine, a generator stator fixed in the housing, a generator rotor arranged radially inside of the generator stator, and a bearing arranged to support a radial inside of the generator rotor on the housing. The generator rotor may include a rotor carrier and a plurality of stacked plates secured to the rotor carrier. The bearing may be at least partially radially aligned with the plurality of stacked plates.

An axle subassembly of a trailer of a vehicle includes a wheel bearing having an outer ring mechanically connected to a shaft and an electric drive/generator operably connected to the shaft, wherein the electric drive/generator in a first state is configured to generate electricity from a rotation of the shaft and wherein the electric drive/generator in a second state is configured to drive the shaft, and a controller configured to shift the electric drive/generator unit into the first state and into the second state.
Axle subassembly including an electric drive/generator unit, and method for controlling an electric drive/generator unit of an axle subassembly
An axle subassembly of a trailer of a vehicle includes a wheel bearing having an outer ring mechanically connected to a shaft and an electric drive/generator operably connected to the shaft, wherein the electric drive/generator in a first state is configured to generate electricity from a rotation of the shaft and wherein the electric drive/generator in a second state is configured to drive the shaft, and a controller configured to shift the electric drive/generator unit into the first state and into the second state.
Drive apparatus
A drive apparatus includes a power assembly rotatable about a first axis, a transmission to transmit power of the power assembly, and a parking assembly provided in the transmission. The transmission includes a first gear rotatable around a first axis, a second gear to mesh with the first gear and rotatable around a second axis, a third gear to rotate around the second axis together with the second gear, and a fourth gear to mesh with the third gear and rotatable around a third axis. The parking assembly includes a parking gear rotatable around the first axis together with the first gear, a parking pawl that includes a meshing portion and is rotatable around a fourth axis, and a drive assembly to rotationally move the parking pawl around the fourth axis and operate the parking pawl.
Vehicle drive apparatus
A transmission mechanism is provided with an output gear drivingly coupled to at least one of a pair of output members and placed coaxially with the pair of output members. A direction in which a rotating electrical machine and an inverter device are arranged side by side in an axial view is defined as a first direction. A direction perpendicular to both an axial direction and the first direction is defined as a second direction. A first output member that is one of the pair of output members is placed between the rotating electrical machine and the inverter device in the first direction, at a position in the second direction where both the rotating electrical machine and the inverter device are placed. The output gear is placed in such a manner as to overlap each of the rotating electrical machine and the inverter device in the axial view.

A transmission mechanism is provided with an output gear drivingly coupled to at least one of a pair of output members and placed coaxially with the pair of output members. A method for operating a thermo-management module for a motor vehicle, wherein the module includes switching over a control unit between a first operating mode and at least a second operating mode, passing on in the first operating mode, control commands received from the vehicle field bus by the control electronics for actuation of the respective functional component directly to the component field bus, in at least one second operating mode, processing control commands received from the vehicle field us by the control electronics, so that the actuation of the functional components is carried out in a self-sufficient manner by the control unit. In addition, thermo-management module includes a component carrier, electrically controllable functional components, and an electric control unit for controlling the functional components.
Track assembly with electric motor
A track assembly includes a frame configured to be coupled to a chassis of a vehicle, a first wheel and a second wheel each pivotally coupled to the frame, a track engaging the first wheel and the second wheel, and a motor coupled to the track and the frame. The track extends along a track path that surrounds the first wheel and the second wheel. The motor is configured to drive the first wheel such that the track moves along the track path. The motor and the first wheel are aligned.
