Display device, electronic apparatus, and moving object
A display device includes a display having a segment display portion that is configured to display a first icon and a dot matrix display portion, a display portion drive circuit outputting a drive signal for segment display to the segment display portion and outputting a drive signal for dot matrix display to the dot matrix display portion, a display abnormality detection circuit detecting a display abnormality of the first icon, a control circuit controlling the display portion drive circuit, and a processing unit providing the control circuit with an instruction to display a second icon, which is a substitute for the first icon, on the dot matrix display portion instead of an instruction to display the first icon on the segment display portion, when the display abnormality of the first icon is detected.
VEHICLE HEAD-UP DISPLAY (HUD)
A vehicular head-up display (HUD) for displaying an image to a user of a vehicle having a windshield (15) includes an image projector (14) outputting a collimated image and an optical aperture expander. The optical aperture expander includes a light-guide optical element (LOE) (10) having two major external surfaces (30a, 30b). The image projector (14) injects the collimated image so as to propagate within the LOE by internal reflection at the major external surfaces. The LOE also has a set of parallel partially-reflecting internal surfaces (12) which progressively couple out the image illumination from the LOE. The optical aperture expander is deployed such that the image illumination coupled-out of the LOE (12) follows a light path including a reflection from a surface associated with the windshield (15) of the vehicle so as to be visible to the user while the user looks at a scene beyond the windshield.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SELECTING AN OPERATION MODE FOR A VEHICLE
A method for selecting an operating mode for a vehicle which has at least two operating modes. Graphics data of a graphic user interface are generated and output, wherein the graphic user interface includes a background display and at least two selectable control buttons, wherein the control buttons are each assigned to an operating mode of the vehicle. A selection of a control button is detected, and a control signal is generated and transmitted to a control device of the vehicle as a function of the operating mode assigned to the selected control button. The background display includes a display of a vehicle surface, wherein the displayed vehicle surface is formed as a function of the operating mode which is selected at the current time. Also disclosed is a system for selecting an operating mode for a vehicle.
IMPROVED AUTOMOTIVE DISPLAY PANELS
Disclosed are structural design solutions for flexible display panels for use in automobile interiors that comprises a flexible joint portion that are configured to meet the requirements of the automobile industry standard head form impact testing.
DRIVING SUPPORT DEVICE, DRIVING SUPPORT SYSTEM, AND DRIVING SUPPORT METHOD
In a driving support device, an image output unit outputs image information including a vehicle object representing a vehicle and a sign object representing a sign, to a display unit. An operation signal input unit receives an operation signal of a user for moving, in the image displayed on the display unit, the vehicle object to the position of the sign object or for moving the sign object to the position of the vehicle object. A command output unit outputs a command corresponding to the display content in the sign object when the operation signal is received, to an automatic driving control unit that controls automatic driving.
TRANSPORTATION MEANS, USER INTERFACE AND METHOD FOR OVERLAPPING THE DISPLAY OF DISPLAY CONTENTS OVER TWO DISPLAY DEVICES
The invention relates to a transportation means, a user interface and a method for overlapping the display of display contents of a user interface of a transportation means. The method comprises the steps: displaying first display contents on a first display device of the transportation means; picking up a pre-defined user entry with respect to the first display contents and in response thereto; extending a first surface associated with the first display contents on a second display device of the transportation means.
VINYL CHLORIDE RESIN COMPOSITION FOR POWDER MOLDING AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME, VINYL CHLORIDE RESIN MOLDED PRODUCT AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME, AND LAMINATE
Provided is a vinyl chloride resin composition for powder molding that has excellent meltability in heat forming and high adhesiveness to a foamed polyurethane molded product after heat forming. The vinyl chloride resin composition for powder molding contains vinyl chloride resin particles (a), a plasticizer (b), a fatty acid amide (c), and vinyl chloride resin fine particles (d). The fatty acid amide (c) has a melting point of at least 105° C. and a content of at least 0.15 parts by mass and no greater than 13 parts by mass relative to a total content of 100 parts by mass of the vinyl chloride resin particles (a) and the vinyl chloride resin fine particles (d).
Steering module
A steering module includes a steering wheel which is provided in front of a driver seat, a column cover which is provided on a vehicle front side of the steering wheel, extends in a forward and rearward direction of a vehicle, and has a functional component mounting region in at least one of an inner inside and an upper portion thereof, and a meter member which is formed integrally with the column cover and includes a main display portion disposed at a position spaced apart from the column cover.
Cover panel for at least one display instrument in a vehicle
A cover panel, for at least partially transparently covering at least one display instrument in a vehicle, has a microstructure applied on at least one surface. The microstructure is suitable for scattering visible light which is incident on the cover panel. The at least one window region of the cover panel is cutout from the microstructure. A method for manufacturing such a cover panel uses a molding tool with an applied microstructure matrix for forming a microstructure on a part of the molding tool which is assigned to a surface of a molded cover panel. The parts of the molding tool which are assigned to window regions are cut out from the microstructure matrix.
