WHEEL RAILWAY SYSTEM WITH AUXILIARY PROPULSION SYSTEM
Railway system with a railway infrastructure including a wheel railway track and wheel railway vehicles driven on the wheel railway track, the wheel railway track including rails mounted on a ballasted or unballasted ground support, for instance provided with sleepers, the wheel railway vehicles comprising a chassis and wheels coupled to the chassis, and a propulsion system, wherein the propulsion system comprises a retrofitted linear electric motor, the linear electric motor comprising a mover mounted on an underside of the chassis, or mounted on an underside of one or more bogies comprising said wheels, and a stator comprising an electromagnetic drive mounted along at least a section of the wheel railway track between the rails of the wheel railway track.
Overhead transport and route management system
An overhead transport system includes a suspended railway and a motorized carrier configured to travel along the suspended railway. The motorized carrier includes a motorized trolley configured to move the motorized carrier along the suspended railway, chassis/beam configured to carry an object below the motorized trolley, and a bumper and deflection system configured to prevent the object from contacting another object.
SWITCHING SYSTEM, AND CONTAINERIZED PARCEL UTILITY SYSTEM COMPRISING SAME
A system comprising a track system extending along an axis of travel, the track system comprising a lower track, an upper track positioned vertically above the lower track, and opposed sidewalls that are spaced from each of the lower track and the upper track along a transverse axis. At least one vehicle is movable along the track system. Each vehicle of the at least one vehicle comprises a main body defining a payload area and at least one drive unit coupled to the main body. The at least one drive unit comprises a lower wheel configured to engage the lower track, an upper wheel configured to engage the upper track and first and second side wheel assemblies positioned on opposite sides of the body. The first and second side wheel assemblies are configured to respectively and independently engage the opposed sidewalls of the track system.
Non-contact power supply system and transportation system
A non-contact power supply system includes an area of AC power supply including a plurality of non-contact power supply devices, a plurality of feeders, and an electrostatic coupler to electrostatically couple at least two non-contact power supply devices to each other.
Transport Facility
A transport facility includes a plurality of transport vehicles that travel in a travel area to transport articles, and a control system that controls the plurality of transport vehicles. The travel area includes a plurality of rechargeable points for recharging the plurality of transport vehicles, and a plurality of transfer points at each of which the plurality of transport vehicles transfer the articles. The control system performs a relay transport process. In the relay transport process, a relay point is selected from the plurality of transfer points, and a recharge point for recharging a first transport vehicle is selected from the plurality of rechargeable points. The relay point is a transfer point closest to the unload point on a transport path of the transport vehicle. The recharge point is selected from rechargeable points of the plurality of rechargeable points within a selection range from the relay point.
System for transmitting electrical energy
A system for transmitting electrical energy from an energy source to a consumer, e.g., for contactlessly transmitting energy to a mobile consumer, includes a first line conductor and a second line conductor. Each line conductor has, in a respective axial direction, an at least approximately rectangular cross-section, the long sides of which are longer than the broad sides. The axial directions of the line conductors extend at a right angle with respect to a vertical direction. The first and second line conductors intersect in an intersection region in which a holding device is arranged, and are arranged outside the holding device such that the long sides of the line conductor cross-sections are parallel to the vertical direction. The first and second line conductors are arranged in a central region of the holding device such that the long sides of the line conductor cross-sections are oriented at a right angle with respect to the vertical direction.
Drive device for railway vehicle
A drive device for a railway vehicle operates by receiving power supply from an alternating-current overhead contact line or a three-phase generator. The drive device for a railway vehicle is configured such that a voltage output from a main transformer is applied to alternating-current input ends in a converter circuit via a first switch. A first phase voltage among voltages output from the three-phase generator is applied to an alternating-current input end in a first leg of a brake chopper circuit via a second switch. Second and third phase voltages among the voltages output from the three-phase generator are applied to the alternating-current input ends, respectively, via the second switch.
LINEAR TRANSPORT SYSTEM
A linear transport system includes a movable unit, a guide rail for guiding the movable unit, and a linear motor for driving the movable unit along the guide rail. The linear transport system also includes at least one switch having at least one static retraction element with a retraction motor module and a retraction rail element, and at least two static extension elements, each with an extension motor module and an extension rail element. The switch includes an exchange device having at least two exchange elements, each with an exchange motor module and an exchange rail element. In a first position of the exchange device, the retraction element is connected to a first extension element via a first exchange element. In a second position, the retraction element is connected to a second extension element via a second exchange element.
